Chelsea coach Marco Ianni has been fined £6,000 by the Football Association for his celebration after a 96th-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

Ianni celebrated in front of the United bench, sparking a reaction from United manager Jose Mourinho.

The FA said Ianni had admitted an "improper conduct charge".

Mourinho was not punished by the FA for his part in the fracas at Stamford Bridge on 20 October.

£6k seems quite steep in my opinion...

Nah, that shit was over the top. Understand the passion but that was uncalled for.

Mourinho can't really say anything and had no right to react to be fair after his antics at Anfield a few seasons ago (telling the whole home crowd to ssshhhhhhh).

It was amusing but it was over the line. For once Jose behaved in his best manner, Marco was to blame. Then again 6k is a bit too much, however he should have known he would be punished after that.

Mourinho looked like an absolute don in his fresh suit standing up for himself though.

There's things you shouldn't do in a professional environment, and that was one of them. Let alone to a man who pretty much established us to where we are today.

Fine justifiable imo.
