Iomie142
Olivier Giroud wants to sign a new contract at chelsea But with all the players that will be arriving in the next transfer window, will he be needed at the club?
Cicero
No. Higuain 1st choice and have Tammy 2nd. That should hold us until the transfer ban is finished.
True Blue
Don't think he should extend. I like him he did okay for us, but even as a back up he doesn't give me confidence. Agreed with Higuain and Tammy for next season if the ban stands.
carefreeluke
Personally would give him another year. Put Tammy out on loan to a Premier League club and make sure that club suits him more.
Devil-Dick Willie
Because of the transfer ban I'd hold on to him, Higuain and Tammy all. No loans or sales.
6666
Tammy Abraham has proven to be a good Championship striker but hasn't shown anything in the Premier League yet. Are you really that confident in having him as backup next season? Having him as third choice striker and eventually giving him more chances based on his performances is probably the safest way to handle him. I hope Giroud moves though, can go to a club where he plays more. Either a midtable Premier League team or outside of England. Maybe Marseille of they make the Champions League. Tammy also looks to be a player who relies solely on service. He won't get that here atm whereas Giroud can offer some brilliant hold up play. A loan move for Tammy in the prem next season probably the way to go.
Dr. Gonzo
Giroud as a second and/or third choice striker is pretty decent. Especially if you can’t bring anyone else in.
