You reckon that's a possibility? I imagine Ferrari would be focused on their golden boy Leclerc; so Hamilton as a second driver?...I just can't see that.

New rumour started making rounds a few days ago: it's being speculated that Lawrence Stroll and Toto Wolff are planning to partner up, take over Mercedes and rebrand it into an Aston Martin team if Mercedes decide to pull the plug on their F1 programme after the 2020 season :o

They're always the last to get any news. It's bad. They have plenty of temporary workers (Leiharbeiter), and they tell them on the last day of their contract that it won't be extended, so that they don't call in sick or anything. Greedy bastards. 

 

So yea, they're saving lots of money on the "small workers". Continuing and spending loads in F1 sounds like what they'll most likely do.
