First time that I'll be able to drink my favourite beer in the stadium. Bring tears of joy to my face.

A great goal by Gießelmann to give Fortuna the lead but it looks like the ball was 100% out of play before that??? VAR seemed to have checked it but the goal stands; the replays clearly show it was wrong though? :what:

1-1; Weghorst equalises after a lovely set up play by Brekalo.

A point against Wolfsburg is fantastic for us. The fighting spirit was phenomenal again, and there is no better tackler than Oliver Fink. He has such a good timing and precision when it comes to tackles, with his 36 years of age. I'm in awe every single match. Anyway, with a bit more precision, we could have scored 1-2 more goals even, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. A point against a "big-ish" team is more than enough.

Wait what? He's 36? :o

Is Ayhan's injury serious? He seemed to be really struggling.

He is indeed. Funny thing is, he's not even slow for his age. I've seen him outrun 20ish year olds. Freak of nature xD

Haven't heard anything about Ayhan yet. Didn't look THAT serious from the stands, but we'll see. His absence would be a huge blow, but Kasim Adams looked decent when he came on for him.

No he's not 36, Oliver Fink is 37 years old guys! Yes, Fink always seems to give a good performance for Fortuna. He's one of their most consistent players.

I think that 1-1 was a fair result and I would imagine that both sides would be relatively satisfied with this result.

Does anyone have a good streaming website for German football? I wanna watch Koln Gladbach and I'm struggling to find anything.

Basically their introduction to the history of Werder Bremen.

The text on the picture says: "Where it all began: on the Stadtwerder island between cow dung and dandelions".

1-1 after the next penalty; this time for Union.

A Koln defender intercepts a pass in the penalty area but can't get it under control, it rolls into the path of Alassane Pléa who makes no mistake from close range. Gladbach lead in the derby.

Watching Köln vs. Gladbach. Pretty good game so far, but Gladbach are wasting too many chances. They should have scored 2 or 3 more at least.

BVB vs the Pretenders on TV here.  BVB deservedly ahead 1-0 at the half through El Paco.

The score at Augsburg suggests that Bas Dost needs to come on.

1-1 in HT. A fair scoreline so far as neither of the teams has managed to create much and dominate the play. Bittencourt is class though, so happy we got him.

That said, can we get rid of that VAR shite? Unnecessary prolonged breaks and still a load of poor decisions. It's just a clusterfuck. A very weird penalty for Klaassen there, then no penalty for us for a handball despite VAR being consulted on all occasions. Honestly ruins the game for me.

El Sancho to El Paco to El Marco make it 2-0, just when I thought the Pretenders might be getting back into this game.

Another penalty for us, Gickiewicz saves, corner, Füllkrug scores with a powerful header. 1-2 for us! What a weird match.

Picking Frankfurt for the win is turning out to be a real bad error of judgement..

Uff... a tough match but 3 points in the end; so relieved. I must say that the game got completely out of control though; with numerous interruptions, three penalties given (two of them very debatable), two red cards (still don't know what was the reason for Sahin's second yellow), a yellow card for Kohfeldt, and everyone falling down in the box and then running to the ref asking for a penalty/handball. Ridiculous really.

Gebre Selassie man of the match for me. So reliable, even when played out of position; did his job really well today. Him and Groß looked much better today than I expected them too; Lang and Friedl also more than decent. Klaassen finally back to his old self; running and fighting from the kick off till the final whistle, unbelievable work rate. A somewhat disappointing match for Osako and Johannes Eggestein, probably the result of the international matches. Bittencourt looks like he's been playing for Werder for a few years already, so good. Can't wait to see more of him, especially once most of our other key players are back.

A very important win; bring on Leipzig now.
