  3. Been to 3 independent shows recently. 2 revpro and one a local company. Was surprised by the quality of the local one as they aren't big at all. Seen a few Tna wrestlers, dani luna, Leon slater and josh alexander. Also seen grizzled young veterans. Orange casidy showed up for one event. Seen osprey as well. Spoke to dani luna at the bristol show and told her how good her match was at a previous show. Might go to the 12 year revpro anniversary show. Its the night before all in so will stay the night if I do
  4. England would be a surprise winner haha
  5. England never win all their group games. I think this might be the one where we drop points
  6. I get that route one football isn't the way to go, but not pumping the ball into the box to arguably the greatest aerial forward of all time is borderline incompetent. Every corner that Portugal took was short and ironically on one of the few occasions that they did put it into the mixer, Ronaldo hits the post and Jota scores (albeit offside). Not that it matters much. Portugal were absolutely shit the year they won the competition in the group stages and then clicked when it mattered. Like England, it's three points and that's literally all that matters in Game 1, given that the 3rd placed team may go through, Portugal are already all but in the knockouts. They're still 2nd favourites for me behind France and you just know the deeper we get into the tournament the more clutchness Ronaldo will become.
  7. The eternal problem in modern football. Generally people or companies who have enough money to buy or sponsor a football club aren't going to be in the Robin Hood mould. Obviously there's still a line to be drawn between ruthless Tory businessmen and human rights abusing state owners but overall there's not really any winners.
  8. It couldn't possibly be as bad as my start could it?
  9. Refreshing thing about the competition is that players are scoring belters from distance. Unlike the PL where nobody hardly takes any shots from distance.
  10. Wednesday Germany 3-0Hungary Scotland 1-1 Switzerland Croatia 4-0 Albania Thursday Spain 3-0 Italy Slovenia 1-1Serbia Denmark 0-3 England Friday Poland 1-0 Austria Netherland 1-1 France Slovakia 2-0 Ukraine Saturday Belgium 1-1 Romania Georgia 1-1 Czech Republic Turkey 1-1 Portugal
  11. Today
  12. No, you just misheard what they said. They said it's his competitive debut, which is true. He's only played in a friendlies for Portugal before this match. Attention to detail my friend.
  13. My crap luck continues, I replaced Rodri with Palinha today, thinking Palinha would start for Portugal as all the media sites expected him to. But Palinha didn't play a minute of this game and sat on the bench.
  14. A goal in every group game. So far so good...
  15. Croatia 2 - 1 Albania Germany 3 - 1 Hungary Scotland 1 - 2 Switzerland Slovenia 1 - 1 Serbia Denmark 1 - 1 England Spain 2 - 2 Italy Slovakia 1 - 1 Ukraine Poland 1 - 2 Austria Netherlands 1 - 1 France Georgia 2 - 2 Czech Republic Turkey 1 - 2 Portugal Belgium 2 - 1 Romania
  16. Danny Murphy eating humble pie the absolute blert. What's the point in making changes so late?! He says as both substitutes combine to get the winner.
