  4. I used to go to Bordeaux for holidays so they were always a team I had a soft spot for, never made it to the stadium mind. Tried one year and we got lost, spur of the moment trip. Before tom toms and iphones.

  5. Finished the Crash trilogy in its entirety (whoever thought it was a good idea to add relics to Crash 1 with those annoying as fuck bridge levels deserves several slaps) and aiming to start South Park: Fractured But Whole at some point while continuing the bloody idiot journey on FM18.

  6. Today, I was reading an article on ArsTechnica about how the R.E.M 25th anniversary edition uses a Dolby Atmos engineering method to deliver the sound in a way we're not used to with regular Stereo sound and it got me wondering about how much I really care for it with the music I listen to. I've tried binaural audio and if you don't know what this read the link below to understand how it creates the 3D effect you may have heard on some music tracks. if you game a lot and have used a system or played games supporting these effects it can be quite nice although a lot of companies still struggle with using it right and more-so getting it to the lowest common denominator for the common person to use. So, do you care about immersive experiences with the music you listen to? Do you just care that you get a simple stereo sound and thats all you ever need? I would actually like to give this a test with some concert music and see how that plays out with a centered listening pattern if its possible considering that kind of sound doesn't have to be directed like most studio music tends to be. Its not as groundbreaking as the article suggests but as a person that has struggled for years with getting a pair of headphones I can use as a daily driver and get the best out of my music it does please me to know that sound engineering is finally getting to a place where we can start talking about music the way its meant to be experienced.
