I have a very strong opinion about this. People should have the right to die with dignity, and they deserve to have the right to choose it on their own terms.

None of my business what people want to do with their lives. Should be their choice and I find it absolutely baffling how the main opposition to this comes from the (often religious) libertarians who otherwise can't stop banging on about freedoms and the "nanny state" whilst simultaneously doing everything they can to tell others how to and how not to live their lives. I get that there's an exploitation angle in some cases but it really annoys me how religious people insist that everyone lives by the same values as them. If you think that humans don't have the right to preside over life and death because God gave you life then fine, nobody's forcing you to take up the option of an early but comfortable passage to the next place, so please don't stop everyone else who doesn't believe in that from having the option themselves. Same with gay marriage, abortion, etc. It's the 21st century.

In the league, it was probably the highest average of scores we've had all season; just under 15 points. @Tommy top-scored to solidify his 1st place, extending the margin to 6 points as @RandoEFC and @Viva la FCB scored the same amount. The next highest scores were from @CaaC (John) and myself. The former swapping with @nawoo was the only movement in the table.

There will be blood: 2007. 10/10 An phenomenal film, no single aspect could likely be improved upon in any way. Solid contender for the best put together film of all time. No country for old men: 2007 9.5/10 Another absolute masterpiece, watched them back to back. One of the most thrilling, tense films put to screen.

Just to let everyone know, after 6 years I've decided not to carry on running this. Life is getting busier and I was quite patchy last season. I don't feel like I can commit to getting an update done every Monday/Tuesday in good time between each set of games and also tag people to remind them on Thursday or Friday (alongside running the F1 predictions as well). It's been fun! If anyone else wants to take charge and carry it on they absolutely have my blessing to do so.
