As much as England are whiners when ever they lose in football or cricket i hope they win this world cup, it's about time they won a cricket world cup. 

If Australia wins its six in twelve editions than even though it shows how much Australia are competitive at this level it won't be good for the game in general.

Happy to see New Zealand win it as well

Really dissapointed by Hafeez, he gave away his wickets consistently playing annoying shots after scoring 20-30 great runs. What a sad way to end his career. Malik will also go now never liked him always involved in or leading politics in the team. 

Shaheen and Babar are the future stars of the team, still think Imam needs to up his game, Fakhar was a total disappointment. Imad is a good finisher not the most talented but very hard working and confident only if he becomes an attacking bowler in one days like T20s.

Wahab had a memorable farewell tournament, Amir has one more world cup in him.

5/10 this World Cup for me over all

First half was plain boring one sided games with rain in between. Second half of the tournament had some nail biters but these last two lackluster matches ruined the whole excitement of the last games that could have been like quarter finals.

The past few weeks have been really thought provoking for me, two people very close to me died just a few days after my niece was born.

Wedding, funerals and births all in this month makes me really feel how short our life is. 

I remember we were all on the old forum when you guys voted to exit..... Good days

That Bangladesh versus Pakistan match looks increasingly important. Currently, Bangladesh look the better side and more mature side. 

No i was referring to this particular event nothing to do with friction between the countries, these 15-20 people were trying to get into stadium without any tickets trying jump over etc hooligans who ruined the whole environment and triggered all of this.

People to people contact are good, i have lots of Afghan friends.

The Pashtun supremacists typr population of Afghanistan are quite ethno racist type. They don't even get along well with the Persian speaking Tajik population of the country, that's why there are always infighting going on between in the country over power.

I have lots of Persian speaking Afghan friends in Uni and none of them is interested in Cricket, Cricket is only played by the Pashtun population the rest of the country is into football

I always thought F1 or racing sports are quite one dimensional as a spectator sports. What if the racer I'm interested in is far off behind they wouldn't probably show him on TV most of the times
