  1. They don’t ‘prefer’ Taiwan, they prefer Taiwan’s microchip production capacity. You are right, there are no ‘good guys’, but what are the intentions? For China it was to lift a country out what basically still was agrarian feudalism and colonialism, or Taiwan; to maintain their own power and hegemony at the cost of its people that governed? Yes China fucked up and a lot of people suffered, but unfortunately that was the normal reality in China for the time like it or not, this was a country used to civil wars, famines, and the UK getting it’s people addicted to opium. China has gone through a lot in 70 years but the average Chinese person would be far better off now.
  2. I see where you are coming from but not really. The thing about Taiwan is that it’s the losing side of the civil war, it’s a government in exile, that claims legitimacy over the entirety of China, as China claims sovereignty over Taiwan. To support Taiwan is claim that the government of China is illegitimate and vice versa. I think there is no issue with sovereignty with Armenia-Turkey, it’s just Turkey throws a fit when the Armenian Genocide is acknowledged, and it’s weird that people skip over the Greek Genocide, when addressing the former. Taiwan is kinda fucked up too, they went through massive human rights atrocities when it was established. Check out the ‘White Terror’.
  3. You throw sand in the vagina and get surprised it's got sand in there. Come on guys, it's just footy, you both love it. Tear into each other in the politics thread like everyone else.
  4. They are also critical of Hugo Sanchez for being a terrible and overpaid coach. Chivas fans hate Ochoa, they mock him by saying he closes his eyes when he catches the ball. Chicharito, I feel people are fond of, as well as Hector Herrera, and Andres Guadrado. An dark horse is Chucky Lozano, they love him.
  5. IDK all the Mexicanos I know make fun of Rafa Marquez for being a cartel bitch. Ask America fans and Guillermo Ochoa is top of the list.
  6. Fucking woke Italians changing lasagna to incorporate new world crops.
  7. Alright you sonuvabitch, Etruscans aren't Roman, and spaghetti isn't a prototype lasagna.
  8. Pasta is new mate, come on now. Romans ate stale bread dipped in wine
  9. tbh the pirate angle is making me consider meeting up with the local mullah
  10. Did you ever watch that live-stream of the Houthis seizing that tanker, makes you wonder if Iran had experienced hands do this…
  11. England is literally in ‘The United Kingdom’. You’re a fucking bootlicker when it suits you, a spineless parrot that has no idea what he is posting, just the confidence to do it. The amount of contradictions and double-think in every single post of yours is maddening. You don’t have a single conviction of belief in your entire body except whatever suits the point you are incoherently making. I’m sick of reading the diarrhoea extending from your fingers to your keyboard.
  12. Saudi violence is okay. Hamas violence isn’t okay. Dumb cunt,
  13. Hamas is a legitimate government, they were voted into power in 2006. Mate you should get checked out at your local GP, I’m worried about you because if they gave you a CAT scan the prognosis would come back ‘dumb cunt’.
  14. Yes, developing country would be more correct. Because with the definition of ‘first world’ Peru very much is a first world country due to it’s alliance to the Western Bloc during the cold war. It’s funny that the term ‘third world’ has become shorthand for ‘developing’ or ‘poverty’, it really shows a condescension mindset of western countries to the rest of the world, it often shows up in the concept of ‘orientalising’ I think. That’s a whole other thing in itself.
  15. First world isn’t economic status. It’s a Cold War term to delineate communist countries and those allied with the USA.
  16. How many countries police are just the military under a different name?
  17. It is Gary Lineker so he probably said something outrageous like ‘refugees are people’ or ‘children should be fed at school’.
  18. Damage control for Egypt was more important
  19. No it isn’t important, because Gazza barely played in the Premier League, I fucked up. He is much older than I thought.
  20. Or maybe its because Gazza looks like a bricklayer and his constant fuck ups despite being one of the best and most talented players in the world made him endearing to several generations of working class boys. Maybe it puts a smile in the heart of every footy playing boy that grew up to be a builder going on coke binges once a week.
  21. It’s because Gazza played in the Premier League and had more exposure to a wider audience I suppose, with the game being ‘more professional’. You’d have to think if Keegan had played in the 90s he’d be the biggest star in the world, but nah he has a terrible 70s perm and fucked off to Germany for a couple of years.
  22. When I think of Germany I think of Beckenbauer and Mattaus
  23. Yeah, I dunno why some people develop personality cults while others don’t. You can’t criticise certain players like Zidane, while being an obvious icon of the sport has montages on youtube that show him doing absolutely pointless tricks in games like doing a Cryuff turn unmarked lmao
