  1. I do think in hindsight with people like W4L like... did he have a point, or was he really that big a bellend. Truth is it was probably a bit of both. Weird World was very aptly named. As stereotypical a bitter Scot as you could get.
  2. Teso was a bellend. I'm amazed anyone took him remotely seriously. I just assumed basically everything he posted was total bollocks anyway. Tell you who I miss, and actually still speak to a bit on Twitter - Ren, Coventry fan. Him and Kel had some super arguments. Kel back in the day genuinely had me in tears. She posted a good ten paragraph rant after a game against Southampton once and the best thing about it is they won
  3. @Stan Who was that Leicester fan who liked French football, signed up here in the summer before we won the Championship and absolutely lost the plot at the fact Drinkwater & Vardy started the first game, both of them scored and the rest is history Marcus something rings a bell. Remember Furious Fox. Still got him on Twitter.
  4. Oh my god I remember him hahahahahaha wednesday4life. Fucking hell. Never seen so much energy in one person arguing. I always liked having a go at him but he just wouldn't ever stop no matter what to the point you just got bored in the end so I stopped bothering. Voice of Reason supported Middlesbrough I think.
  5. Yeah I agree with this, I do think there's a tendency to try and flaunt it a bit though and it hardly ever works - especially not now where you've got a lot of big money clubs already there. There simply won't be another Chelsea or Man City, and even with those two, Chelsea were already floating around the top 4 and Manchester City took nearly four years to win the title under their current owners, and that followed a few years of spending relatively big under Shinawatra. Gradual progress is the one. I've only ever seen one team go from relegation candidates to champions but their name escapes me.
  6. Todd Cantwell for £65mil I reckon. Tyrone Mings £40mil. Wondering which flavour of the month winger from Europe comes in for £45mil and is loaned back out to Europe next summer after 3 goals and 2 assists in 26 games. I'll go Chiesa.

Around £300 up at Cheltenham so far. It's who you know. My sister's boyfriend's been looking at Cheltenham for months and I've just taken tips from him daily. Think I'll let him marry her.
  9. What a fucking awful day for us. For fuck sake.

That is mental really that they'd offer something like that. Bookies do drop the odd clanger.
  11. Fuck me all the Salzburg hype and they might not even win the league They've really bodged it a bit haven't they. Suppose it was kind of inevitable they lost everybody but I'm surprised they've had someone pip them. Hope LASK finish the job.
  12. I reckon he ends up at Everton after all. Back to Manchester United? Plausible but I have my doubts. Man City and Liverpool no chance. Spurs have just signed Bergwijn and aren't exactly short in that position. Arsenal having spent big on Pepe last year I doubt will do it. Chelsea have just bought Ziyech and want Sancho. The dark horse in this is actually potentially us.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. It's fucking infuriating for admittedly very biased reasons, thought I'd totally beaten the bookies on this one and for seemingly no reason what so ever I'm going to lose after all. Incredibly unlucky. I don't see how he gets in unless Southgate's a massive fan.
  17. Why in gods name has Tomori totally fell out of the reckoning? I stand to win £350 if he goes to the Euros and around November time this looked nailed on. Inexplicably he's seemingly vanished?
  18. Genuinely wouldn't start a single Leicester player at the minute until the form picks up. I'd have Saka and Grealish in over Chilwell and Maddison on current form. Vardy as well has gone right off but I think he'll get it back - moot point anyway as he's retired and he won't come back.
  19. I'm not totally sold that Maddison could play that role. It's different playing there for Leicester when you've got Ndidi behind you but I could see that side having 5+ goals in every single game. We'd score loads and let in loads. At least one of Kane or Rashford will be rushed back and flop. I'm sure of it. I'm actually really quite stumped to be honest because of the holding midfielder situation. I'm nowhere near sold on Rice but I'm not sure we can afford to not play him either. I do feel like now you need a brilliant holding midfielder to achieve anything and we've not really got one. Some are saying Rice could be one but I'm not sold personally. He's hard to judge. As stated - playing in a fucking god awful side. Choudhury's your next best bet and I'm not totally confident with him there for us to be honest, so I'm not hugely keen. He's looking at Harvey Barnes for the squad apparently. I think it's too soon but he's finally starting to hit some form.
  20. The Newcastle ban is a myth apparently.
  21. I am terrified of comparing anybody to Mahrez again after I feel like in Ghezzal we signed what looked like the nearest thing to him in everything bar ability but this bloke really does take the piss in a way that I can only remember Mahrez, Taarabt etc... doing at that level. I'd welcome him here. A genuine flair that you can channel into more.
  22. Feel like that was a big win for you earlier. Had a horrible feeling you were going to chuck it away and lose.
