  1. If @Lucasis anything to go by, I’d completely avoid Leeds and Yorkshire in general. @Stanhas been to a fair few grounds I think. He might have some decent input. Old Trafford has held some ridiculous Ashes test matches since 2005.
  2. If you want countryside, Knutsford is your best bet. And it’s about 10mins from the airport as well.
  3. Manchester isn’t anything like London so as a city center, it’s not particularly massive or overwhelming. Some nice hotels and restaurants too. Metrolink service runs every 15 minutes out of the Center towards Old Trafford. If you’re looking at staying in a town as opposed to the City, the tram runs direct from Altrincham as well. Some of the smaller towns like Knutsford and Wilmslow are decent enough and trains will take you direct into the city on a fairly regular basis.
  4. 6 month loan of a Dutch international who scored 2 against Argentina in a World Cup Q/F. No issues with that if it means we save money for the summer.
  5. It’s not insane when you consider the ‘cycle’ they’re on…….
  6. How’s it ‘working out’ for him?
  7. Did you not watch Knives Out? The accent shouldn’t have been a surprise.
  8. Honestly mate, there’s nothing scary in this film. Watched with with the kids loads. It’s a bit sinister towards the end before it’s all nice again but your kids may not even understand that aspect of it. Sabrina’s been watching it since she was 3 and loves it. Loved it so much this was Halloween this year….

I reckon @MUFC can diagnose this.
  11. Ate something that didn’t agree with you?
  12. In laws bill came in at £450 for the month. Holy fuck.
  13. I hear Tahith Chong is free this time of year……
  14. I get your point, but on the flip side, how many poor sods ended up with traumatic brain injuries for simply looking at a bouncer the wrong way? Whilst it’s still on the whole incredibly rare to be knifed to death inside a club (I know numbers have risen), kickings from doormen were a dozen a night and often resulted in horrendous life changing injuries. Source: best mates mum head of A&E at the time (late 90’s/early 00’s).
  15. Again, stop spamming or get banned. It’s your choice.
  16. Little birdie told me you got divorced 5 years ago mate.
  17. So you’re 17, but most people you know are divorced 35 year olds? Sounds legit.
  18. That’s why I met my wife at 19. Probably shouldn’t comment on things you have absolute no idea about because you’re 12.

  20. Well the Physio’s aren’t striking and the Nurses are most DN’s that are on time critical visits. If you’re not out packing wounds, cleaning pressure areas and changing meds in syringe drivers, people will die. The striking nurses aren’t in A&E, HDU and critical care etc. Its more the standard non critical stuff on general wards.
  21. I have worked NHS but not anymore. Got plenty of friends that are Physio’s/Nurses but they’re not striking.

I am. Agree with Spike and DDW though. Defence is shocking and we’ll be one and done in the playoffs.
  23. Anyone see the United financials that were released? 307m in transfer debt on top of the 500m club debt. Had to borrow a further £100m last year and now only got £24m left in the club coffers which is about 3-4 weeks of operating costs. We’re literally on a pay check to pay check basis at the moment. No wonder the spineless money grabbing want to sell. We could be well and truly fucked at this point.
