Good finish in Falcons vs Saints earlier. Falcons had a chance to win but their kick was blocked in the final seconds. Steelers vs Bengals was a thrilling finish too.
  5. Up in the air at the moment. Depends what kind of resources are needed. PL have a big call to make. They got it wrong for this weekend. I think because it's close to the funeral, I don't think games will go ahead. But then there's scheduling to think about for the re-arranged games.

Could argue that Shakib Al-Hasan for Bangladesh, Rashid Khan and more recently Mujeeb Ur Rahman for Afghanistan are those high profile trend-setters for their countries.
  8. Looking at the PL and Europe schedules, earliest these postponed games will get played is 17-18th Jan.

Kind of linked to this, I only learnt the other day that drinking beer and curry/spicy food is one of the worst things to do - drinking beer makes the food 'spicier' as it is an 'irritant' for your tastebuds. The spice chemical in the foods clings on to the receptors, and beer isn't effective in calming this feeling down. It might feel like temporary relief, but it's worse as the spice chemicals (capsaicin for chilis) remain on the tongue and heat up again.
  10. Not with you, with Happy Blue. Of course I get the point. It's not confusing at all.
  11. I didn't think we were talking about Spain though.
  12. That says players to buy themselves out of their contracts. A release clause is a club paying the necessary fee, agreed in the players' contract by the selling club? Kante had one back in 2016 which is why Chelsea brought him on a relative cheap. Chris Wood had one to be able to leave Burnley for Newcastle. There's always relegation release clauses or release clauses for specific clubs (European-participating clubs for example)

I refuse to be included in the heinous allegation!
  16. Priti Patel resigns as Home Secretary. Some good news at last.
  17. Ox I can understand due to injuries. Keita is surprising purely due to the fact of the midfield issue.
  18. Things accumulate over time don't worry about that
