I think expecting Matip to play any kind of run of games is over-expecting, in my opinion, so it's hardly that much of a bad break not seeing him play several games in a row. More injuries at the club. Castagne, Ndidi, Praet, Fofana all out with hamstring injuries. Vardy just had surgery on a hernia issue. Won't hear about it in the media, mind. The fact majority of them are hamstring injuries does go to show how the lack of pre-season and busy cluster of games takes its toll though. Vardy and Ndidi are the biggest misses.

This in particular is the worrying thing. It's like newspapers and their horrible front pages - if it gets the clicks (online) and the attention, all morals go out the window. They get their reputation, people talking, attention, revenue and that's all that matters.
