    Cooking

If anyone knows the game of Indian savoury snacks, we cooked 'gathia' today. Also known as 'tikki sev' in some areas too. Did huge amounts in preparation for Diwali (it's why I love this time of year!). This is just a fraction of what we made...

Millwall evens at home to Barnsley. Reading evens at home to Rotherham. Cambridge evens at home to Bolton. Cheltenham evens at home to Mansfield. All in form sides hosting teams either bottom or towards the bottom of their leagues...

Hmm usually when you wash the meat or the process of the cooking in oven or pan it'll stop any salmonella. Take a picture of the final dish though! Tandoori Chicken is a delight if cooked right with enough spice.

Usually marinating is when chicken is raw but you have the right idea in marinating overnight for tandoori, always tastes better with a long marinate
  9. Johnson and his cronies are up there after today's vote denying children free meals during the holidays to prevent child poverty/hunger during this pandemic...
  10. Wonder what will come of this Guiliani 'scene' in the new Borat film. Actor playing Borat's daughter is posing as a TV journalist, aged 15. Seen to be in a room with Giuliani. Giuliani is seen to be reaching down his trousers before Borat runs in saying 'she's 15, she's too old for you'...

This is superb. Back when @Bluewolf and @CaaC (John) were probably still in their 60s or 70s, but this is talent...
  13. Manchester getting absolutely shafted tonight How can £60m be the government offer and then it comes down to £22m just because the mayor wants the right thing done to support the people he is representing and make sure public and business in Greater Manchester are looked after if lockdown is put in place? It's not the fact he didn't want a Tier 3 status applied, just wanted businesses supported while Tier 3 in place. It's disgraceful how GM has been treated tonight and the government, again, have a lot to answer for. Pathetic shitstorm continues.

Is it COVID they're worried about though? Even if not, is it a preventative measure to recuperate/recover at home as opposed to pass it on to other members of the team (flu/Cold/COVID) and make you further short-staffed? They'd rather have you off for a day (or just under) as opposed to longer...
  15. Works perfectly in cricket and rugby. Literally everyone in the stadium hears the comms from the third umpire (the VAR official equivalent) as to what the ruling is and process is. In rugby apparently you can get earpieces in the stadium which link up to the TV comms where the ref speaks to the TV ref. It's frustrating in football because commentators doing the game can hear the referee communications and they sometimes announce the decision before the referee has signalled it.

Terrible. You're meant to be an example for the rest of us.
  17. I think hearing the decisions in real time would genuinely clear things up for a lot of fans in PL. Instead of the reviews and apologies a couple of days later which don't really do anything in reality. Hearing the comms between officials really would help.
  18. Thanks @CaaC (John) for your latest donation
