    Health and Fitness

Haha funnily enough I took my weight for the first time in months (probably way before first lockdown). I weigh in at a light 15st. Not sure what my goal or aim would be, even by start of December. Maybe half a stone? Or a few pounds?
  2. Keane is a prick. Loves to give it out and will speak his mind. That bit I don't mind of course. But when someone dares to speak out against him or have a debate with him, he hates it. Not a fan of someone who gives it out but can't take it. Dickheads. Makes them look weak. He's clearly just jealous that Arsenal are getting their shit together and have some air of stability as opposed to the shite he has to watch week in, week out with that melon in charge. Cahill is right especially talking about lack of leaders & lack of influence. Nothing wrong with what he said at all. Clearly tries to say that Arsenal learn from their mistakes and where they go wrong. Man Utd don't. Keane gets offended at it.
  3. Voter suppression is illegal isn't it? Disgusting.
  4. We've been forced in to it. Pereira was of course already injured. Ndidi then out for 12 weeks from Sept. Soyuncu out til Jan after injury on international duty. Castagne now out for a few weeks after a hamstring injury. Maddison returned after injury against Man City then picked up another one. Vardy was out injured for a week or 2. Evans was injured, didn't play any games before the last international break, then played 3 internationals somehow. Ideal situation we'd have loved to have the option of rotation through choice. Quite simply, we haven't been able to. They've pretty much all been enforced. All well and good to talk about protecting players and I'm sure every manager has the wellbeing of their own players as one of the top priorities. But with shorter pre-seasons and regular influx of games, plus the most stupid decision to add an international game in the international break hasn't helped anyone, I don't think. So yeah managers need to manage but the demand on them/players could have been eased. 5 subs wasn't the only answer.
  5. Precisely proving my point, really . They have a bigger pool of talent to rely on if extra subs are/were allowed...
  6. That quite obviously favours the bigger clubs though with bigger quality squads and better players to call up on...
  7. Just read this while on a Teams meeting at work and someone just said they've done this
  8. Don't mind if you nuke Bristol for that rave but do it after next August please. Cheers.
  9. Yep, been something to speculate about since all the rules came in months ago anyway. My sister-in-law's dad had a colleague at his office who tested positive. Colleague had been at work, had symptoms then stopped going to work, took a test, found out the results on Saturday and tested positive. Sister-in-law's dad only has to isolate but not advised to take a test (although we have said he should try and get one anyway). I don't get it either.
  10. Australia with 0 cases recorded in a day since June 9th. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-54768038
  11. Another appointee purely on who someone knows as opposed to what they know. Great.
  12. Information overload when it came to the slides earlier as well. If anything it implicated the government anyway because it showed the rise in cases from earlier this month when a lockdown could have been brought in and when it was suggested by Starmer/scientists, which logically ties in with what @Inverted said.
  13. Surely it's just until a vaccine comes along? Lockdowns, I imagine/hope, would be less frequent when a vaccine is in place, even if initially it is preserved for those in a priority/shielding category. Regarding Wales' actions, this didn't age well... Only a few days ago. It's not as if they're handling it with so much glory while being in charge here. Prick.
  14. A vastly overdue national lockdown to come in from next week then. The government snidely releasing this news to papers on a Friday evening. They're pathetic. They actually infuriate me just how shite they are.

    Which one is you @Azeem?
  16. Yeah the 3-game international breaks are pissing me off. Totally needless and harsh on the players as well given the lack of pre-season. Gonna suffer some kind of burnout by the summer or during next season too.
  17. Something must be happening in training which is affecting the squad. Not just little niggles either, players out for weeks at a time. Wonder if it's the lack of pre season but also being worked too hard perhaps? Not sure what the injuries record was like at Celtic or Liverpool when Rodgers was there...
  18. Our injury list gets worse. Castagne will miss Leeds and Wolves games at a minimum, out until after the international break. Adds to Soyuncu, Ndidi, Pereira and also Evans with a potential back injury as well.
  19. Yes his comments are bizarre and totally unnecessary. It just fuels more hate and enables these cunts to carry on beheading and killing French citizens based on the acts of hundreds of years ago. It's akin to Trump saying there's 'fine people on both sides' when the riots at Charlottesville happened a few years ago. Fuels hate and gives the green light to people to cause terror. It's totally counter-productive.
