  1. I've started watching cowboy bebop. I quite like it. It got cancelled after one season and didn't get great reviews. I like it though. I can see why it didn't do great but I like the idea behind it and find it entertaining
  2. Well that's your opinion mate. I'm pretty certain many would disagree. I've seen his matches and he's been brilliant
  3. You think fin ballor is better in the ring that osprey? Not sure many would agree with that mate. But that's what I mean. Osprey would be pushed more in aew because the fans care more about wrestling skills.
  4. @Devil-Dick Willie There's a revpro event in Portsmouth next month. Just over two hour drive. I might go. Is osprey was there I definitely would but I don't think he does much for them now. Apparently he has said he would consider going to wwe. Do you think he would be used well there? Or is he not big enough or mainstream enough? I really hope he doesn't. He would be a star in aew. He's one of the best wrestlers I've ever seen
  5. I thought I heard that ajax have never finished below 6th in the Dutch league. Could be wrong though. Seeing them bottom is crazy
  6. @Devil-Dick Willie isn't revpro a feeder for new japan? Is it worth making a long journey for? I'm not worried about story telling I just wanna see good wrestling
  7. Her boyfriends a prick. He can't handle that she's better than him. Hayley is good. But she has a lot of problems. I think she said she got abused when she was young. If she could get more help I think she would add something to aew. The wrestling skill is there with the women in aew its just the gimmicks that are the problem. And then changing it when it gets stale. The Tony Storm gimmick is very popular but has a shelf life. The only one who gets away with it is shida because she relies on her wrestling skill more, she doesn’t really have a gimmick. But not many can do that.
  8. I don't actually know anyone who likes wrestling. It doesn't bother me going alone. I went to all in on my own. There is a show in a couple of weeks I was thinking of going to. Scotty too hotty will be there.
  9. @The Palace Fan did you watch that wrestlers documentary with Al snow? Noticed Hollywood hayley was on collision last week. She's actually got a lot of charisma I think she would be a good signing if they take her on. She has an issue with smoking weed before wrestling but of she could stop that she would be good.
  10. I am starting to see it with Jay white now. Obviously you don't achieve what he did in Japan if you don't have something about you. @Devil-Dick Willie @The Palace Fan I have been thinking about going to a local independent wrestling show. It's a mainly south west promotion. What are the crowd like generally? For some reason I just imagine them to be a bit clicky like a local pub and not like people they haven't seen before
  11. @The Palace Fan Watching collision a couple of weeks behind. Starks and big bill squash FTR clean. Who came up with that idea.
  12. @The Palace Fan @Devil-Dick Willie did you find you liked wrestling more after you had gone to it? I like it a lot more since i went to all in. Its like I feel more emotionally connected to it
  13. It is very frustrating knowing if it hadn't been for my bad mental health I would have a mortgage by now. I may inherite a house from my auntie one day but I don't think I'll be able to get a mortgage
  14. @Dr. Gonzo A similar one is the banana splits movie. It actually got about 65% on rotten tomatoes. Worth a watch if you like that kind of thing
  15. I've said on quite a few occasions that they may not be the best. Like is said. referee's can only get promoted 1 season at a time. So you could have better referees in lower divisions. And you seem to think they don't take their job seriously again I would disagree. There are consequences. Referees get reviewed every week. They get bonuses, they get paid more for high profile games, if they do badly they get less of these. I've also said repeatedly it was a very bad error. But people do make very bad errors. Doesn't mean they are bad at their job because of one very bad error. Maybe they should of been sacked. However they decided not to sack them. And also I'm not just talking about that game I'm talking about in general. People don't get paid 100 grand a year if anyone can do their job. I just pointing out it's clearly not as easy as people think or they wouldn't pay someone so much to do it. Are you seriously suggesting that anyone could be a var official? That's all I'm asking. I don't know if they are good or bad compared to other countries. But I'm fairly certain it's not an easy job because as I said. You don't pay someone that much for an easy job. Also I would point out that if you are paid over 100 grand a year then you are a more competent person than average. Perhaps you are over estimating the average competency level
  16. You still to get errors in other sports. And also in other sports they are allowed to advice the referee more. In football they have to be absolutely certain. I think they should be able to say what they think is more likely. I don't mean to be be rude but you seem to have a bit of a I could do better attitude. I'd be fairly certain that you couldn't. The system doesn't allow for the best to go to the top as fast as they could but it does allow for the best to go to the top.
  17. People moaned just as much before VAR. I don't doubt there are better referees. Like I said the system doesn't allow for the best to go straight to the top. We're never going to agree so no point in continuing.
  18. What a strange tournament. Maybe Bangladesh will win it
  19. That was a one of mistake though they don't do that every game. My point is though if they could get anyone to replace them they wouldn't pay them that much. You have to remember a lot of the decisions are open to interpretation. The clearly wrong decisions are much less common. We're probably never going to agree on this though. I want the standards to improve but I don't think the abuse referees get it is right. And I think the media make it worse because they always make everything out to be a disaster because it sells more papers and attracts more viewers
  20. I'm not sure it warrants sacking mate. I mean didn't you say the var officials earn 100 grand a year? You don't pay someone that much money if you can get anyone to do the job. I know you don't like officials mate. But you have to be able to get better people to replace them with if you sack them. I think that is a possibility. Apparently in England refrees can only go up one league at a time. So if they stand out they can't go from league 1 straight to the Premier league which is an issue. Despite what some people may think I'm not trying to be contrarian. I just think how I would feel if I was in their situation
  21. I mean they have been suspended for two games. Obviously who ever is in charge decided it wasn't a sackable offence.
  22. @Dr. Gonzo I mean within about a minute you should realise its not for kids, and definitely within two
