  1. Let me know your first impressions I think I'll get it as well as a few other games around Christmas when I take a break from work so that it makes more sense to make the most out of that borrowed PC
  2. Yeah but I'll have to borrow a friend's PC so probably a bit later... You?
  3. Ich auch... Hier isser, der stolze Theodor! Oh und der Toprak ist schon wieder verletzt und fällt für den Rest der Hinrunde aus...
  4. Peugeot officially confirmed their participation in WEC/Le Mans Hypercar class from 2022. So far it's: Aston Martin - Toyota - Peugeot - Glickenhaus - ByKolles. Good start.
  5. Ford vs Ferrari (Le Mans '66) - just got back from the cinema. Not as epic as I expected it to be, but still a good movie. Probably felt a bit underwhelming to me as being familiar with the story of the rivalry as well as of Ken Miles and also having seen the actual race, I always knew what was going to happen. A must watch for a racing fan but it keeps it balanced so even those who have little interest in cars should enjoy it; very entertaining. The cars are real eye candy and the sound work is amazing; that Ford GT40 roaring sounds are the real deal and the race shots are beautiful. It's a blast from the past of how proper racing used to be. Still; it's not even close to the brilliance of Le Mans (1971) with Steve McQueen though. 7.5/10
  6. Sounds fine to me. A 3 match ban is a standard punishment for a "regular" red card; double that seems justified given the circumstances.
  7. To be fair I don't really see Lewis and Seb as rivals myself. The dynamic just isn't there. Verstappen vs Leclerc have the potential to be one for sure; hopefully both are given strong cars that allow them to compete for the championships. Would definitely love the new Prost/Senna or at least Schumacher/Häkkinen
  8. Happy for Alex; he handled the mid-season switch well and deserves a chance to show what he can do with more experience with the car next season. He will need to start taking some points away from the rivals though. No surprises with Toro Rosso either; interesting things might start happening after the next season though if Tsunoda, Vips or Lawson impress and live up to their potential.
  9. Cheers for that; looks good! Will give it a go later tonight Running them shouldn't be much of a problem... It's an old laptop but the specs are decent and I can run most of the games up until 2014-2015 without running into an issue and many even newer games are totally playable. I'll start with the first one anyway and see how I like it! Thanks!
  10. There corrected it for you On a serious note it's hard to tell anyway. A lot will certainly depend on how their respective teams handle the new regulations.
  11. No spoilers please! I'll watch it tomorrow.
  12. Going to Ford vs Ferrari (Le Mans '66) on Wednesday
  13. For me it depends. If you have to do intense physical activity outside then -20 is certainly preferable to +35. But if it's overall living in a certain climate then I personally prefer the heat. Having fewer clothes on, taking a cool shower a few times a day, drinking a lot of water and having a fan on 24/7 when indoors is by far easier and more enjoyable to me than having to wear a few layers of clothes, feeling the chill get into your bones and spending massive amount of money on heating costs. That said winter has its charm too. The crisp smell of fresh cool air. The snow. Christmas. Cuddling in bed
  14. You just adapt to it... Just like you adapt to the heat of +40. No difference really; just another extreme to become acclimatised to. Though I certainly prefer the latter
  15. I never really considered Canada before but they are very nice people and it would be a good opportunity to meet again and to see something new as well. I'm with your missus though; there's no way I'm going there in winter either I've had enough of -20 to -30ºC winters in my life to know that I don't enjoy it one bit haha.
  16. Got invited to Canada next summer as my ex-neighbours (a lovely couple) just moved back there... Pretty tempted to be honest.

We used to drink it neat many many years ago but the thought alone makes me gag now I don't mind it in a Bloody Mary (which I love) but other than that I can't stand it either. It's whisky and beer for me only these days. I quite like rum too but I can't really drink it as I can't stand sugar. Vodka with redbull is awful for your heart...

Why do you think I left??? Beer is bigger here than vodka anyway...

    I actually dislike vodka

Bloody Mary! Vodka, tomato juice, a splash of Worcestershire sauce, a few drops of Tabasco + stir with a celery stalk.
  21. I can understand the novelty factor but for me it definitely wouldn't be worth it; even if it's not that expensive. I don't really do snorkeling or scuba diving, so being brought by a helicopter to a beach and being told that I can't go anywhere else or interact with the locals doesn't sound like my kind of trip haha.
  22. Never heard of it I'm afraid...
