  1. I loved The Karate Kid. One of my favourite childhood films. I was so hyped for Cobra Kai and begging it didn't do a disservice...and it bloody well didn't! Brilliant series. It's great how they have done it. Interesting plot story which no doubt will develop further into another season, interesting characters especially Miguel's journey and the change in Johnny, and plenty of references to the past film which go down a treat. Like the 80's music they add in as well, kinda like Stranger Things, just to relate to older viewers. The only problem was literally how short it was. 30min episodes, you burn through them like there's no tomorrow. Very impressed though.

Definitely fella. Then on the ground for a champers picnic before smashing her backdoors in the evening. Preferably without injuring her neck. Sorry, that probably wasn't very appropriate

You can get some good one's on those Virgin Experience day's. Either a taster one or something it a bit longer. We did one a while back, pretty decent and not too expensive.
  4. Literally cringing at the thought of liking anything related to these but Victor Lindelof, you are punching. What a quality bird he has.
  5. That's all well and good until you lose to Huddersfield and West Brom, two teams destined for the Championship.
  6. I will settle for that comment. Literally scrolled back through the comments praying I hadn't made a twat of myself. In the clear.
  7. That screams 'coming straight to DVD and The SyFy movie channel on Sky' real soon.

No, never been to Topgolf, I've heard of it though. I probably should just go up the driving range maybe once a week just to keep practising when there's nothing to worry about bar hitting the ball. Gotta say though, it's quality when the sun is blazing out in the summer and you go round. Even if you are shit. It's kinda enjoyable if you hit one good shot to take home. FootGolf I played a couple years ago. It's ok, I don't really see much hype for it though. It sounds like you need to get some mini golf on the go to work on your putting sunshine.

I've decided to try and get into golf. I play a max of about three times a year, only when the sun is out, and I'm gash. But I have too many friends and workmates playing that I need to try and give it a go to get better. Anyone actually decent on here? Or do we all just swing the thing and try our best to twat the ball in a straight line?

    Boxing

As a non boxing fanatic, what happens now? Last week, Dillian Whyte was calling out Wilder. Eddie Hearn seemed keen to make that fight. Last night, AJ called out Wilder and Fury. Is it likely Wilder and Joshua now fight? Or will Whyte fight Wilder and then the winner take on Joshua? With Joshua possibly fighting Fury before? It's all so confusing...

Milkybar Egg update. The egg has been snared. Fuck you Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrison's, Waitrose and Lidl. The Range. You'll do for me.

I totally have left it late. To be frank, I'm usually pro active but as it's just a chocolate egg I thought I'd get one nearer the time. Little did I know the British public love Milkybar. And as it currently stands, they are definitely not on me...

I wish my missus didn't like Milkybar so much the bloody bint. Been looking around today for a fucking Milkybar easter egg to no avail so far. I feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger hunting Turbo man in Jingle all the Way, only I will not let this cunting little egg allude me.
  14. No, not just yet but perhaps when the time is right it will. Will be firmly looking into New York for later in the year now and also a cheapy 7-10 dayer in September for a hot beachy do fuck all holiday
  15. Been away for two long weekends. Weekend one in Budapest with the boys (class) and Weekend two in Paris which is where the original post originated from, planning for my missus' 2nd year anniversary. Budapest is a gem, second time there for me now and it's brilliant. Have to say big thanks to @Danny and @...Dan for their tips and advice on what to do/look out for in Paris. I didn't stay in the Monmartre region but we did go up there one late afternoon through to evening and it was beaut. Stayed in the Saint Germain region, near Notre Dame which was nice, some lovely cafe's, bistro's and patisserie's near by. Ate enough pastries to sink a battleship and loved the local cuisine. A little bit unlucky with the weather but we made the best of it by doing all the usual touristy things, as well as the Catacomb's (not planned) and going up the Notre Dame tower. The Seine cruise at night was also lovely. Will definitely come back again one summer when it's hotter.

Nice pic mate. Congrats on the hat trick by the way.
  17. Not gonna lie, when I first read 'Explosion in Leicester' my first thought was @Dan has lost his shit after losing another 'nailed on' dodgy tip on something akin to the Estonian Division Two League.

Your mate on the right looks like the perfect person to play Mclovin in a Peru version of Superbad.

    Rugby League

Great start for the Rhinos at a bogey ground. Really not sure what to expect with Leeds this year but find it amusing that some critics still choose to write them off despite the fact they are masters at finishing the season well and winning the playoffs. If Leeds don't do it, I kind of hope Castleford win it. Felt sorry for them last year, they just didn't perform when required but that experience will be massive for them this year.
  20. I agree on the midfield for sure which is what I initially mentioned it. You do not seem to control games enough for a potential league winning side. That is clearly evident to see. I won't teach Chelsea fans how to suck eggs when you watch them more than me and if you feel that's not a valid opinion on Matic, fair do's, I'll accept that although I'm still not sure. I do feel that his inclusion at Man Utd has definitely improved them as we saw by the performances of Pogba this year and I do wonder what things would have been like for you had he been in your team this year. On the evidence of what I've seen, Bakayoko hasn't done it for me but clearly there is a talent there. I feel like it's more than coincidence that without Matic in the middle, we've seen you forced into more mistakes by teams high pressing, not just in terms of the wing back weakness as you mentioned. But that's just my opinion, not to say I'm right. As for going forward, I can't see Conte being there next season. I think the fact he's openly slating the club's transfer policy shows how frustrated he is and after the Costa fiasco, getting caught up in Mourinho's mind games, you can see Chelsea pulling the plug on him. Be interesting if you go for Juve's manager as I saw rumoured, particularly as he loves the three at the back. Part of me would say Ancelotti possibly as he seemed to be the only guy interested in encouraging the youth through the ranks but I feel his chances are tainted now after Bayern.
  21. Extremely unprofessional of the FA to not partake some proper due diligence on Neville, with the social media aspect covered, especially after all the sensitivity over the last Woman's coach getting the push for controversial circumstances. And Neville looks a prize cunt now for his comments. That said, things were different back in 2011 when he first made one of them comments. He was a professional footballer, captain of his club and probably still a bit naïve (like all footballers are) to realise the consequence of posting such tweets that could be considered offensive. He isn't the first footballer/sport star/celebrity to be undone by something they said in the past and he won't be the last. We all say tongue in cheek comments on a regular basis but because he's in the public eye, he'd be more scrutinised. I don't think it's Neville's true thoughts now anyway. He obviously wanted the job and let's be fair, if he wanted to, he could probably be a coach at a PL club and get paid way more than what he's being paid as England Woman's manager. But clearly he really wanted the job so obviously has no issue with women's football. The fact of the matter now is, when you go for a high profile job/role, the safest thing is to delete your social media. Standard.
  22. I don't see as much dominance in midfield without him and for me this is the key area on the pitch. This is where you win football matches. Matic is a phenominal build, tall, big, powerful, imposing and deceivably quick. He's very good at what he does. Probably underrated infact. Bakayoko has come in with a similar physique to do a similar job but hasn't performed this quite as well. For example, I thought a lot of your build up play last season was based on defenders playing out from the back into Matic, who could start attacks with his quick and accurate passing. He is a key cog in turning defence to attack quickly. This year, I think without him, teams have cottoned on that they can press you higher up the pitch into making mistakes without him there and that's happened more than you'd like. You have also seen at Man Utd this year where quite a few of their goals have come from him turning defence into attack. Bakayoko also for example, averages significantly less touches in a game than Matic and is also lower down on passes per game so clearly his presence has been missed. I think you've definitely lost impotence going forward and also become more exposed. There isn't really anyone in your squad that has been able to replicate what he brought to your team. Costa went missing in the second half of the season last year for me and Hazard pulled you through but the one person that was always there was Matic and I don't think that can be ignored this season.
  23. Whoever's decision it was to sell Matic should be the one on the chopping block. That was, and remains, the key loss for me.
  24. Had 4 days off to myself and have smashed a load of films out I've wanted to see. Short summaries only. Coco - 8/10 - Very good. Not quite the pinnacle of Pixar but close. Brilliant heart-warming storyline that is sure to tug at the heart strings and as usual with Pixar, a good mix of humour and song. And very good to see Disney embrace the Mexican culture. This will be a big hit. Brawl in Cell Block 99 - 7/10 Better than I expected. Vince Vaughn is unrecognisable as his great big brick shithouse of a character and it's without doubt, one of his best performance's. Start's as an initial slow-burner then get's quite gritty and bubbles along nicely when we learn the main plot of the film. The action scenes are absolutely savage as is the harsh realities of prison life and it's all about following Vaughn's journey to gain redemption. Jigsaw - 2/10 Gash. Can't say I've ever enjoyed a Saw film since the first one. American Made - 8/10 Tom Cruise back to his best in the true life telling of Barry Seal. A remarkable story told at a continuous pace with plenty of action and humour. For me, this reminded me a lot of War Dogs so if you enjoyed that, you'll like this. All in all a very entertaining rise and fall story with all the glitz and glamour around it. 12 Years a Slave - 9/10 Somehow missed seeing this upon it's initial release till it was on TV tonight. Brilliant watch. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Fassbender are absolutely unreal in this, particularly the latter as the 'bad guy'. The story is excellent and really hits home the message about slavery and what people really went through. The score by Hans Zimmer compliments the cinematography and leaves you feeling like you've just watched an epic.
