Azeem Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 We lack game awareness badly individualy and as a unit should have at least appealed to get the run out which wasnt given wrongly Quote
Administrator Stan Posted May 18, 2019 Administrator Posted May 18, 2019 @Azeem just seen Malik's dismissal from yesterday . Smashes his own wickets. 1 Quote
Administrator Stan Posted May 19, 2019 Administrator Posted May 19, 2019 @Azeem Pakistan chasing 352 and they're 6-3 off 3 overs. Something tells me you might not win today... Quote

Azeem Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) Think we could have won two matches in the series but it was a good warm up for the world cup. I hope the wickets aren't that flat in the WC otherwise it is going to be one boring tournament. Edited May 19, 2019 by Azeem Quote

Yep. If so, could see some mammoth scores with the way some teams bat. Hopefully there's some change. Still think weather plays a huge part though. Bound to be several matches with overcast conditions or even rained off. Quote
IgnisExcubitor Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 Three very unique replies to being dropped from the World Cup squad. Junaid's response seems angry, and understandable. @Azeem you need to tell us more, if there are any groups in the squad. Also, are Malik's issues sorted out? He went back home during a series. The other response were less angry. I thought Ambati Rayudu's response was witty, after the selectors stated that they wanted to take three dimensional cricketers to the World Cup. David Willey's is just plain classy. Quote

Junaid has always been neglected tbh, even so after his performance against India in 2012-13, overshadowed by Amir ? but this isn't something new its a cultural problem in the sub continent people tend to pull each other down whenever one is making progress out of jealousy and insecurities. Missed the last World Cup because of injury if he ends his career without a World Cup game than it will be truly a shame. Nothing has been made public about Malik's issue so can't say anything 1 Quote
IgnisExcubitor Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 That's a shame. I have always liked Junaid's bowling style. I think he is a top bowler. Quote

Administrator Stan Posted May 28, 2019 Administrator Posted May 28, 2019 Just caught up with cricket from today. India got to 266-5 by 43 overs then ended up on 366 . Dhoni went to town on the Bangladesh bowlers! Really good stand being made by Das and Mushfiqur in return though. Quote
