Our 9-0 over Southampton could be in threat here if Man City fancy it.

Would be funny of they were 7.0 down at half time. Two half time  7.0 games in two days

With all this talk watch Bournemouth surprise everyone now. The stage is set. Either that or an absolute smashing from City.

6mins in and David Silva scores a majestic free-kick. No chance for Ramsdale.

Good free-kick by Stanislas well saved by Ederson. Tipped on to the post and then fortunate not to have it bobble back in the goal.

Bournemouth should arguably be level. Otamendi makes a last-ditch block to deny Solanke.

2-0! Jesus shows great footwork to double the lead. Brilliant goal.

Could we see another 5-0 win for Man City today?

I follow closely the brazilian players in european football and, in my opinion, Gabriel Jesus is having a better season than Firmino.

100%.

Liverpool fans will rightly say that Firmino offers more to their team because of the work he does off the ball. Which is fine and there's of course nothing wrong with it.

But Jesus has had to deal with being in and out of the side as Aguero is the main striker but when he's been in, he's almost always delivered.

Penalty to Man City. Looks like he stepped on Cook's foot as the defender slid in...

I'm at a lost as to how Jesus has hurt himself when he's stood on CookxD

Glad VAR overturned that. Shows they've learnt from the Fernandes incident. Cook gets stepped on. Inadvertently either way but even so, it's the right decision.

It really annoys me when the teams start properly playing when it’s almost too late. Yeah, it’s still to play for but Christ where was this sort of effort and heart when they were plummeting towards the bottoms three?
