We weren't fantastic against Morecambe in the Carabao Cup but we grew into the game as it went on. Hopefully we'll show a little bit more match fitness and actually play the players in their proper positions with less experimenting as they looked lost when Ollie did that against Morecambe.

It’s great to have football (and these threads) back. The Carabao Cup, with it being on a Saturday, just didn’t feel like it was properly back yet.

I might go to Harlow Town v Sporting Bengal United in the FA Cup Preliminary Round or I might sit in front of Soccer Saturday and lament whatever team it is that I’ve bet on for getting dicked 0-3.

Millwall vs Stoke.

Still getting a grip of the transfers and whatnot. No idea if Stoke are good at this point or not, but being a home game I'd hope a win comes up.

Brentford losing... @Danny

Been the better side so far really, though not created loads. Unsurprising were 1-0 at the beginning of the season but the performance has been fine so far

One of those games where they will feel they defended well and managed to snatch a winner, for us we created chances to win it but it just didn’t happen.

Classic first day of the season Brentford, I’m sure the results will improve I just hope it doesn’t take 8 games like last season

Apparently this was the same score last season as well and we know how that season turned out. :whistling:

Proper old timey football match at Huddersfield. This is a match where I would accept the idiots calling central defenders, Centre Halfs, cus it really could be 1930.  Kinda surprised Teemu and Blondy did not get snatched by some other team.

0-0 at the half, when the players go for a fag and a cuppa.

Still 0-0.  For some strange reason the Outside rights, for both teams do not want to get out of their own half?  I know Stanley Matthews is 30 years old, but both teams should look at signing him, he may still have a few good years left in im.

Lost 1-0 and it was a proper shit goal for us to concede. We look like a decent side and given more match practice, we will be able to challenge at the top end hopefully!

Hull’s second win since January. What a record.

Don't know if you listen to BBC Humberside but was Burnsey finally happy?
