Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted September 8, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 8, 2020 We weren't fantastic against Morecambe in the Carabao Cup but we grew into the game as it went on. Hopefully we'll show a little bit more match fitness and actually play the players in their proper positions with less experimenting as they looked lost when Ollie did that against Morecambe.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Hopefully Harris gave the team an absolute bollocking after the Carabao Cup and learns that we cannot play three at the back again. Massive improvement needed here.
Smiley Culture Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 It’s great to have football (and these threads) back. The Carabao Cup, with it being on a Saturday, just didn’t feel like it was properly back yet. I might go to Harlow Town v Sporting Bengal United in the FA Cup Preliminary Round or I might sit in front of Soccer Saturday and lament whatever team it is that I’ve bet on for getting dicked 0-3.
Mpache Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Millwall vs Stoke. Still getting a grip of the transfers and whatnot. No idea if Stoke are good at this point or not, but being a home game I'd hope a win comes up.
Smiley Culture Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Part of me is tempted by Draw or Boro from a betting angle this evening.

Danny Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Also 100% should have had a penalty first half but oh well
Danny Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Sergi Canos just hit the crossbar on an overhead kick, that boy is going to score serious goals this season

Danny Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Smashing them and losing 1-0, the Brentford I love
Danny Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 One of those games where they will feel they defended well and managed to snatch a winner, for us we created chances to win it but it just didn’t happen. Classic first day of the season Brentford, I’m sure the results will improve I just hope it doesn’t take 8 games like last season

Bluebird Hewitt Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Cheers Bacuna. Fucked up a pass which set Windass through and he scores. Bellend. 1-0 Wednesday.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 2-0 now. Utter shite. Free kick into our box and we couldn't do simple basic defending, with Rhodes getting the touch to put it in the net.
binder Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Proper old timey football match at Huddersfield. This is a match where I would accept the idiots calling central defenders, Centre Halfs, cus it really could be 1930. Kinda surprised Teemu and Blondy did not get snatched by some other team. 0-0 at the half, when the players go for a fag and a cuppa.
binder Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Still 0-0. For some strange reason the Outside rights, for both teams do not want to get out of their own half? I know Stanley Matthews is 30 years old, but both teams should look at signing him, he may still have a few good years left in im.
binder Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Teemu latches on to a bad back pass and sets up the goal that begins Norwich's return to the 1st division.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted September 13, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 13, 2020 Lost 1-0 and it was a proper shit goal for us to concede. We look like a decent side and given more match practice, we will be able to challenge at the top end hopefully!
The Artful Dodger Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Hull’s second win since January. What a record.
