nudge Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 How the fuck is Kohr still on the pitch? At least 6 fouls during the match and now this.
Administrator Stan Posted February 6, 2018 Administrator Posted February 6, 2018 Yeah Bailey's pushed Delaney in the face and somehow that was only given a yellow
nudge Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 And after that he pushed Gebre Selassie in the face too
Administrator Stan Posted February 6, 2018 Administrator Posted February 6, 2018 it had to be Bailey to put the free-kick in that leads to the goal too

nudge Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Well that's it then. I hate football. Good night.

Moderator Tommy Posted February 6, 2018 Moderator Posted February 6, 2018 Well, there are still plenty of positives Bremen can take from this match. Focus on the league, who needs a cup anyway

Guest Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Good game tonight. That Pundit (don't know who is is) is a clown. Moaned about the referee not using the VAR then said that refs shouldn't use it to much because it will slow the game down.
SchalkeUK Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Wow - no negative comments after a sort of middling performance but Wolfsburg were not good - doesn't matter now we wait for Bayern in the semis if DFB do their usual sort of 'chance for everyone' draw!
Faithcore Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Why should there be any negative comments? I'm always fair when judging Schalke's performances. Nevertheless I must admit that Burgstaller's goal was very lucky.
SchalkeUK Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Thanks Faithcore- I knew someone would use the word! In fairness it was a bit lucky, but the build-up to the goal deserved it - Burgstaller had better chances but, as usual - he was unable to take them. Kehrer was at his best - covering his own and Schopf's unfitness and even Naldo and Meyer made the odd errors but Wolfsburg did not take advantage. The foul count against Harit continues to rise, but he is sometimes looking as if he is trying for them - not nice. Sometimes looking like a mini Gomez!
Faithcore Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I think Burgstaller's goal was lucky for three reasons. 1) Wolfsburg was in ball possession. They had the ball and lost it. How stupid. 2) Wolfsburg's defender slipped before Burgstaller passed him. 3) The goalkeeper was at the wrong place. He easily would have saved it if he would have been closer to the other goal post.
SchalkeUK Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Touche; 1: Poor play to lose the ball - not luck 2: Wrong studs and poor preparation for the pitch - not luck 3: Burgstaller not good enough to make a clinical finish and keeper out of position -lucky!
SchalkeUK Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 So is Arnie - and I would not want to face him in a shoot out!
SchalkeUK Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Yes! and you could have had one on me in Essen on Tuesday had you been able to make it! If the draw is at home for the Semi's I have to come again having seen all the other rounds so we can try again!!!
