It's likely Bertrand and/or Vestergaard will play and that's pretty much a guaranteed loss as a result. It's just going to be a disjointed weak squad really. It'd set a bad precedent if it got called off for just 2 covid cases compared to what other teams have had to contend with and carry on. As a side note, our injuries record is just beyond a piss take now. Can't remember the last time we didn't have any injury concerns and could choose from our best 14/15 players. Rodgers has a bit of clout yet doesn't use it to our advantage. Kavanagh is a cheat who shouldn't ever be reffing us but we never flag it up. That was some effort from Maddison. Doing well in the league is always a more sustainable way of showing progress than putting all your hopes into a cup. Especially if the specialist in bottling is gonna put his side out and then bottle it against our fringe players and kids.
