Haha it's never his fault is it, always finds someone or something else to blame. What an arrogant miserable little shit. Rinus van Kalmthout surprisingly good! Also David Schumacher looks to be improving fast. Quote

He might be the first driver ever to be given the cold shoulder entirely by Formula One just because of how much of a dickhead he is. Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted January 19, 2019 Moderator Posted January 19, 2019 Ahhh, the Race of Champions. I attended one in Düsseldorf in 2011. Good times. Weird to see the name Vettel and Schumacher together again. But a good kind of weird. 1 Quote

nudge Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Daytona 24 Hours this weekend! Both quali and the race will be streamed live on IMSA.tv Amazing grid... Spotter guide here: https://www.spotterguides.com/portfolio/19_imsa/ Last year's race was a bit dull. Hopefully it will be a better start of the new endurance season this year! Quote
nudge Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Daytona just started a while ago... Livestream: https://imsatv.imsa.com/ I don't normally care about prototypes but damn that Mazda looks sexy! Quote
nudge Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 The race is fantastic. Just got red flagged for the second time after they have been racing in torrential rain for hours; not sure if it will resume. Still 1 hour and 49 minutes to go. Alonso in front at the moment after a mistake by Nasr. Those conditions are mad. Quote
nudge Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 As if the new all-female series concept wasn't controversial and stupid enough, the first driver selection is done and many of the fastest drivers in the selection tests are surprisingly missing out from the final 28... no one actually knows the selection criteria (should be speed, potential, and overall aptitude but it's apparently not); it's getting even more obvious that it's just a PR-stunt and money grab and nobody in charge really give a fuck about actually promoting women in racing. nudge Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I'm probably talking to myself here as usual but in case anyone's interested: there's Bathurst 12 hour this weekend; arguably one of the most entertaining GT3 races on the calendar and it never fails to deliver in terms of action and overall entertainment. 28 Class A entries, 10 different makes of GT3 cars (Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mclaren, Mercedes AMG, Nissan, Porsche), world-class teams all over the world - all racing on one of the most spectacular race track ever with plenty of fast dangerous curves and big elevation changes. Last year's extended highlights: Official stream will be available here: https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/streams-tv/international-streaming/ as well as on youtube. Quote
nudge Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 What an amazing race it was... Well worth staying up last night. Plenty of on track drama and exciting clean wheel to wheel racing throughout the race. Brilliant win for Porsche/Earl Bamber Motorsports too; the last 20 minutes of the race were absolutely incredible. The best I've seen in quite a while. Quote
nudge Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Been closely following Robert Wickens' recovery after that horrific crash for a while and it's so amazing how remarkable his journey to rehabilitation has been so far... Going from multiple severe injuries (thoracic spinal facture, spinal cord injury, neck fracture, tibia and fibula fractures to both legs, fractures in both hands, fractured right forearm, fractured elbow, four fractured ribs and a pulmonary contusion) that left him paraplegic to walking with assistance and pedaling a stationary bike on his own So happy for him; hope it gets better and better every day. Quote
nudge Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Watch out for Francesco Bagnaia, a rookie who managed to be second fastest in Sepang tests on a last year's bike... Ducati's look unbeatable. Quote
