There's Football Manager Touch on Switch as well.

I can't play the FM games anymore because I get furiously addicted to them and I don't focus on real things and just focus on being the world's greatest manager.

Going through the God of War series again. I wish I had a PS4, the exclusives on Xbone are pathetic.

Can't you trade them in at a Gamestop, etc. ? I remember when I lived stateside that sometimes shops took them back and gave you good deals on the next console you bought.

I wouldn't usually say a good deal, especially with the slim pickings at least in the UK.

Finished Yakuza Kiwami and just finishing some side quests and the like now. As for afterwards, I could play Sleeping Dogs again after buying it on the PS Store for cheap recently, but also have the likes of Doom, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of Mordor, Mario & Rabbids and Zelda on the back burner.

And I've done as much as I can really be arsed with now on Yakuza Kiwami. Done the side stories and got all my abilities so the only things really left to do is complete the game again on legendary (another time maybe), get 100% completion (can't be arsed) or continue doing things with one of the characters to like me (meh).

So it's one of those listed above alongside the likes of Alien Isolation, Injustice 2 (bought the legendary edition when I  upgraded my phone) or Football Manager Touch on the Switch. O.o

I should say that its really just luck but the best ive ever gotten is a 40% off on a gamecube copy of Animal crossing with a trade-in for an SSX double copy I had. I've never sold a single console I have ever owned but friends have for trade-ins.

That's pretty good in fairness. The only 'deal' you may get is getting a brand new game (for example, God of War), for £20 (maybe more as I haven't checked recently) if you trade in a relatively new game from a small list (for example, Shadow of the Colossus).

Bit hit and miss really.

Aye, you really have to go hunting. I remember once trying to get rid of a copy of RE ZERO and having such a nightmare trying to get any money for it at all. Nevermind that it was dirt-cheap at the time. But the more mint things are the more convinced the person is giving you the deal as well and I have seen some consoles that look like they've been to war.

I've never traded a game in, just don't see the benefit from doing so.

I used to do it with games I have no affinity for anymore. With the digital downloads it doesn't happen anymore but back in the day I had some proper howlers on many of the systems I owned. I have literally tried to give away my misorder of Catherine because I dont need two discs for the PS3 but no bites so far.

@Bluebird Hewitt if you ever go in trying to trade a Steelbook edition of a PS3/4 game the shopowner's eyes light up like a christmas tree.

Surprised by that. Catherine was a good (though very difficult) game, even if a bit awkward at times. Probably quite niche mind.

As for Steelbooks, they don't tend to do much better really. The problem with my area at least is that your choices are either Game (shit) or CEX (smelly shit). Amazon were ok but have stopped trade ins now.

@Cannabis I never did in the past but if certain games hold their value and I have no intention of playing it again, I tend to do that in bulk rather than now and then. Bit pointless just hoarding games if you have no intention of going back to them.

I got this shortly after buying a switch... but I've barely played it at all. I've barely played the switch at all tbh, which is a shame.

Mate i got one for Christmas and the first time I've played it consistently had been the last 3 weeks.

Have totally got into this mario odyssey though. Up to 520 moons now and trying to tackle Bowser for the final time in legitimately the hardest level of Mario i've ever played. 6 hoirs on this so far and can only get halfway through the level!

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.

First impressions. Quite underwhelming. Undercooked on blending a story around the levels,  and on telling you more about the many items you need to pick up along the way. Hopefully it will improve.

I have it on Wii U and started it but never got back to it. It's meant to be very good, though I have been told that it spikes considerably later on.

It starts really abruptly. A little clip of some bad guys coming to the kong island then I'm off and running. But never telling me why i need to collect so many items along the way. What's the point of all the jigsaw pieces? Banana coins? Would expect level 1 to include more orientation.

I also found the movement mechanics a bit awkward.

Am such a huge fan of the original donkey kong country... maybe my expectations were too high. But cant see how this rates as 91% on metacritic compared to 97% for mario odyssey. I'd give it 70 at best from what I'm seeing so far.

I downloaded Sleeping Dogs as it was free on Xbox for a bit but never got round to playing it. You'll have to keep us updated on how it is, although you seem to already hold it in high opinion.

It's a bit rough around the edges (a diamond in the rough if you will) and isn't a particularly good looker, especially as it had gone through a bit of development hell (it was originally going to be part of the True Crime series called True Crime:Hong Kong, but it got cancelled by Activision before Square Enix bought the publishing rights and renamed it to Sleeping Dogs).

So long as you're not expecting it to be on par with GTA (it isn't), you might like this.

I'm at the point where I've finished all the games that I own and moved to my new house (I used it as an excuse to leave all my "to do" pile with my parents) so I might go through this as a stop-gap between now and the E3 releases.

I've found that due to my limited play time due to work etc. I'm only really getting stuck into open world games, I do believe this is one?

Yep, pretty much like GTA.

Sleeping Dogs is fucking fantastic. I haven't played it in a while, but it was one of those free Xbox Gold games a while back so I've got the free definitive edition somewhere on my Xbox account. I'll have to get back into that after I finish my wide backlog of other single player games that I need to play, but haven't been able to make the time to finish because life is a cunt and keeps getting in the way of me having fun.

My game time has been very limited, so I've mostly been getting into games with a multiplayer component so I can play with this group of friends I've got here and lately we've been very into State of Decay 2. I never played the first one, but I'm really into the second one. It's a cool open world zombie survival game - you have a small community after you get through the intro and your goal is to make it through each day and survive. Each day gets tougher and tougher and there's other NPC communities that might ask you for help (or demand you give them resources); if you don't give into demands/help people out then you've got a weird situation where not only are there hostile zombies out to kill you. But also hostile arseholes who are either too needy and expected you to drop your own survival to help them; or a bunch of greedy bastards who want to take your hard earned shit. So there's sometimes fuckers with guns you've got to worry about too.

But if you help people, you can rescue other survivors and have them be a part of your community. And there's a semi-RPG element; the characters have their own personality traits, they get better the more they do certain things (like the more zombies you beat to death, the better you become at fighting) and once you max out a skill you upgrade it and it's sort of like a very simple skill tree where you've got a choice between what you specialise in. Other than that, you collect resources, build up your community and your base, murder zombies, etc... If you've got a survivor in your community who's a total cunt, they'll start fights with people and decrease moral and you can exile them. Or more fun than exiling them is sending them out on a suicide mission.

If any of your survivors die, they're permanently dead and you can't revive them. So you've got to be pretty careful. When you're doing co-op, you just play on your friend's community... but you can access all of your survivors from your community to help them out. You get rewards for playing properly and helping their community once you log back into your game - so as to encourage actual co-op. And shit can go from looking total fine to very fucking hectic pretty quickly.

It's a quality co-op game and I highly recommend the fuck out of it.

Anyone who is looking for a good mobile footy game get Score Hero.

Nice idea for a game and good gameplay.

Looking at the screenshots, is it just international teams or are clubs in there?

@Dr. Gonzo, I've heard some decent things about State of Decay 2 but it apparently has a fair few bugs as well.

Yeah it's got a couple, but nothing major. Mostly hilarious physics bugs, which I actually love.

You will play through a player's whole career in the start choose your nationality which will be your national team than after the first few levels you will have to choose out of three clubs.

As the levels go up you will be approached by bigger clubs and will play at international tournament with the country you choosed earlier.

This level is fucking impossible! Hardest piece of any game I've ever played.

Has anyone ever finished it?
