Yeah, we're pretty much fucked.

Sheffield United and Watford next and we're not getting anything against either of those. If results go against us, we could start to be cut adrift by the time we play Stoke.

The most annoying part is looking at the goals against, our defence is actually pretty good. We just can't put the pissing ball into the back of the net when it matters, as Kaba showed yesterday when he had a free header that went straight at the keeper.

Watford are so hit and miss. They're hard to predict with whether they'll get any result. Catch them on a bad day and you never know...

I tell you what, if they get in the playoffs, I'm 100% hoping to see Coventry go up. After everything they have been through as well, on and off the pitch especially.

Mark Robins just continues to plod on and lead his team up the table and they have a Premier League ready striker in Gyokeres ready.

The problem for them is there's probably seven clubs fighting for two playoff spots, assuming Luton and Middlesbrough don't suddenly collapse.

We've done it before, check your Ring doorbell @Bluebird Hewitt

All I saw were petrol cans and a lot of ginger. :(

Relegation fight looks tasty as well (unfortunately). 3 points separate Rotherham in 18th to Reading in 22nd for what is very likely to be one more spot.

Sunderland have got themselves in with a sniff of playoffs now with that win at West Brom today.

Good to see Millwall bottling it.

Still routing for Coventry and Robbins mind. Coventry and Sunderland at Wembley would sell out.

Half the division mathematically still in with a shout of promotion xD

Promotion:

Capture.jpg
- Burnley can confirm the title if they win away at Blackburn (!).
- Sheff Utd can confirm automatic promotion with a win over West Brom on Wednesday
- Swansea making a late dash for the play-offs - 4 wins in a row, only 3 points off 6th place, but unlikely given the plethora of teams above them.

Relegation:

Capture.jpg

- QPR's surprise win over Burnley may have just secured survival because...
- Cardiff play 2 of the 3 teams directly below them, so points will be shared there. Rotherham vs Cardiff / Cardiff vs Huddersfield coming up this week!
- Wigan also continue their hope of survival with a shock win over Millwall, but they now rely on other results going their way. The same applies for Blackpool who won as well.

Sheff Utd have wrapped up 2nd spot. Luton & Middlesbrough confirmed to be in 3rd or 4th place.

Then the big battle continues!

Cardiff just need to match Reading's next result after their huge win over Rotherham.
Wigan are relegated if they draw/lose vs Reading.
Blackpool are down if they lose and Huddersfield draw, or if they draw and Huddersfield win
Reading are down if they they draw/lose and Huddersfield win & Rotherham draw.

Might be guaranteed safety before we kick a ball if Reading fail to win on Saturday, which would be nice.

However, it truly doesn't disguise how shit this season has been for us really. Reading would be level on points with us without the points deduction, while Wigan would be on 43 points and have a better shout of staying up.

In summary, we're mainly staying up due to point deductions of others. Very very poor.

Sunderland v Luton

Coventry v Middlesbrough

The one team I'd probably not want to face right now is Sunderland. They have snuck in on the last day, and you get the feeling they'll ride that wave. Luton are a tough nut to crack but Sunderland have been exciting to watch. I fancy Sunderland to get through that.

Coventry v Boro is a flip of a coin for me. It would have been difficult to back against Middlesbrough back in March but their form has been patchy and I'm not sure if they can suddenly just flick it back on again for these two games.

Personally, I really hope Coventry do it, just for Mark Robins and what they been through in recent times. Massively overachieved he has there.

But I'll be pleased for Mowbray and Sunderland if they do it. Mowbray is one of the game's good guys despite looking like Wurzel Gummidge.

Luton and Millwall. xD Need to win both, anything less won’t be good enough.

Couldn't get any closer without actually reaching the playoffs. Frustrating but it's getting closer every season. It was an interesting end atleast with all 5 of the teams in the last 5 games being rivals for promotion spots.

What's embarrassing is how the Nobender fans are saying they lost against Sunderland on purpose. If that was actually true, it would show them to be pathetic if anything.

To be fair, that draw at Deepdale proved to be costly in the end as well. The wankers.
