Was fine for us but not outstanding most of the time. Position's are pretty well covered as well. Was a good loan for coverage but that was basically it.

We trying to do a swap deal for Kimmich, we desperate for Cancelo to not return xD

Manchester City are interested in signing Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich and are prepared to use Joao Cancelo as a makeweight in the deal, sources have told 90min.

90min reported last week that the midfielder was considering his future at the Allianz Arena and a number of elite European sides had been made aware that he may be looking for a new challenge.

Kimmich's situation has now notably drawn the attention of Man City, who are in the market for a midfielder -  Bernardo Silva and out-of-contract Ilkay Gundogan could leave the club this summer.

90min understands that Man City believe Kimmich, who has previously worked under Pep Guardiola, would be capable of slotting seamlessly into their midfield and they have outlined a deal which could see Cancelo join Bayern on a permanent transfer.

That's a ridiculous price tag for a player that's not wanted. If Man City are to sell, I can't see anything above £40m.

Cancelo is still a top class attacking fullback though on a long contract that can play on both sides.

I think it was always expected we wouldnt trigger the buy option. Theres still some talk about negotiating a better price but I just dont see it. We have a few positional needs and this would be a luxury signing. Unless of course Davies or Masraoi are moved on, then things change.

Id take Davies and give you cash too, just what we need really. would you be bothered about losing Kimmich?

Id be surprised if we sold either really. Kimmich is basically a non starter - unless he wants out which by all indications he doesnt. He doesnt have an agent either, he represented himself at that last contract extension. Davies was in talks about an extension but thats been put to an abrupt stop as Brazzo was just fired. That could be one to watch in the future.

Amazing how this situation has come about, they were talking about him being the best full back in the world earlier this season.

Now he's being rejected by two clubs.

It isn’t a question of his ability. He is a wanker, that’s why he has bounced between clubs so often.

Bayern Munich have reportedly made contact over a potential late transfer move for Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo.

The defender has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days, although it has been reported that the Spanish club’s financial issues have delayed the potential move
