Just imagine:

- bring back refuelling

- bring back multiple tyre suppliers

- get rid of too complex aero, simplify it, bring back more ground effect

:x

Take the halo away?

Haas are apparently claiming 35m in damages from Rich Energy... while they are still waiting for a 6m invoice to be honoured :dam:

Combined with awful on-track performances, it's a disastrous season for Haas.

If anyone's not seen yet, on Top Gear last night there's a part of the programme focussing on F1 cars, specifically Colin Chapman, and his efforts to make the F1 cars as effective as possible and exploring the physics of ground effect and trying to make them go as fast as possible.

Quite a good piece :)

Well, compared to what an average Vietnamese makes, its not.

True, but there are also plenty of Vietnamese who are more than able to afford it as well plus there's the benefit of increased levels of tourism that hosting an F1 race is supposed to bring. Also let's be honest - an average Vietnamese isn't particularly interested in F1 in the first place. The ones who are interested more or less fall into the category of young urbanites from families with expendable income higher than the average national statistic + the rich from surrounding Southeast Asian countries and China.

Just imagine Jules and Charles on a team :(

Oooof, that brought a tear to my eyes. My first and so far only F1 race I witnessed was at the Nürburgring in 2013, and I saw Jules live, at the drivers parade, and in the race. And I think that was the race where his car broke down and he it was on the sidelines but somehow it rolled back onto the track? Anyway, Jules was a lovely lad, and so so talented. Such a shame what happened to him.
