Carnivore Chris Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Everyone is banging on about the farce that is Mayweather/Conor Mcgregor. But this Jon Jones and Cormier fight is much more attractable. 2 Quote

True Blue Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 The main card is stacked, don't recall a better main event. Quote
Rick Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 My brother cancelled his by sport subscription just last week and never let on. Went to put this on and got a horrible surprise...fan-fucking-tastic Quote
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted July 30, 2017 Subscriber Posted July 30, 2017 Brutal in the end from Jones. He's the best there is in my opinion, nobody better when at their best who currently fights. No wonder he's calling out Lesnar... massive massive name but he would destroy Lesnar. Would be a big fight though. Quote
True Blue Posted July 30, 2017 Author Posted July 30, 2017 Cormier went all out and Jones waited for his chance. I like Jones but feel bad for Cormier he was the only fighter that actually made competition for Jones. Apart from the one off with Gustafsson. Quote
Rick Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Gustafsson looked excellent in his last fight so he will be looking towards a title fight soon, but hopefully we can see Jones move up to Heavyweight and knock fuck out of Lesnar first. Quote
True Blue Posted July 30, 2017 Author Posted July 30, 2017 Jones - Lesnar is just a money fight, like the Conor vs Mayweather fight. Lesnar is nothing more than a juiced WWE entertainer. Quote
Rick Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 He is and I don't like him. Which is why I'd like Jones to butch the cunt. Quote
Carnivore Chris Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Very impressive by Jones but I knew that he would win the fight, even if not quite as comfortably as he did. Comier is hardly a bad fighter either and it was the first time he'd been knocked out for a reason. Great to see Jones back. Volkan Oedemir was another who was impressive(he won performance of the night, although I do think that should have gone to Jones, all things considered) against Manuwa. Another great victory and knock out for him. Some class fights overall. These events rarely fail to impress and that's what is good about UFC these days. Quote
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted July 30, 2017 Subscriber Posted July 30, 2017 The Tyron Woodley fight though... Dana wasn't happy afterwards and rightly so. Anyone hear about the record they broke? Quote
Carnivore Chris Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Yeah that fight was lacklustre. Woodley could have finished it though to be honest. Bisping looks like he could be fighting against Georges St-Pierre in November. Quote
True Blue Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Woodley is a smart fighter takes no risks and i think he will hold the belt the longest of the current Champions. GSP vs Bisping shouldn't be an entertaining fight, but Bisping obviously up for one last big pay day and i don't blame him. Quote

Rick Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Jon Jones is a fool. A career wasted. He should of been the best of all time. Quote
Fairy In Boots Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I wouldn't be surprised to find out Jones has been juicing all his career Quote
True Blue Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 (edited) Shame really, he is pure talent this just shits on everything he did all his career. Twice juiced and plus the drugs + the accident with that pregnant lady. If the UFC gives him another chance then he is untouchable, he could set a childcare on fire and still be okay in Dana's books. Edited August 23, 2017 by True Blue Quote
6666 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 (edited) Jon Jones will be banned for a long time, McGregor's now just interested in doing a lot of gimmicky stuff to make money and Rousey probably doesn't want to fight anytime soon. UFC are lacking in star power, probably praying Lesnar comes back next year (which there are a lot of rumours of). Edited August 23, 2017 by 6666 Quote
