Redcanuck
Can't remember fully, but I don't believe United made many if any additions to the team that came up. You can't stay with the team you come up with and expect to survive in the Premier. I believe United have some money behind them and was surprised they didn't spend on a number of players that were better than what they had. Hamer was a decent signing, but some players round him not so much.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 27 Subscriber Share Posted April 27 Total waste of time. It was entirely predictable too. They're almost certainly going to hit 100 conceded as well.

Happy Blue
Sheffield United's relegation from the Premier League might not be officially confirmed yet. The top-flight's official X account shared a post that states the Blades' demotion to the Championship is dependent on Nottingham Forest and Everton's points-deduction appeals. They deleted that tweet but it's still hilarious. Making out that Everton and or Forest could have a further double figure points deduction to put them below Sheffield United when appealing against a 2 and 4 point penalty respectively. Dave
The sad thing is, even though they've been absolutely terrible, they'll probably make the playoffs if they keep there best players. BBD, Archer, Bogle, Ahmedhodzic and Hamer have already shown to be very good for this level. Then there's Lowe, Trusty, Egan, Osborne, Davies, McBurnie and Brewster to round off the squad. After having four very good teams this year, The Championship feels like it will be far more open next year with less quality providing one of the dominant four win the playoffs.
