Dave
This is the game I'm looking forward to watching the most as a neutral given how Georgia have played against Turkey and Portugal. Not sure how Spain will play given how different they set up in and out of possession against Croatia and Italy, which adds to the intrigue really. If Spain win this convincingly then you'd have to want whoever gets through out of them and Germany to win the thing if you're not playing them in the final. It would be a criminal offence if one of the teams on our bracket ends up winning the whole thing at present.
Michael
Spain are pinning Georgia back in their half as expected. Spain have great passing and movement, it's lovely to watch them play.

Georgia score with their first attack after 18 minutes through an own goal. It was a lovely cross to be fair. But Spain are still going to win this, they should put the many chances they create into the back of the net. Michael
Fabian Ruiz has a shot at goal excellently saved by Mamardashvili. Mamardashvili has been one of the best keepers at these Euros. The Valencia goalie has superb shot stopping abilities. Edited June 30 by Michael

Yea, can't help feeling that once Spain get the first then the second the floodgates will open..

Michael
Excellent goal by Williams! He ran at the defence, dribbled past a defender and then whacked the ball into the roof of the Georgian net to give Mamardashvili no chance! Superb goal by Williams! Moderator Tommy Posted June 30 Moderator Share Posted June 30 Well, good performance yes, and Spain have some wonderful players. But let's not act like they needed an owngoal to win against an awful Italy side. Tonight was "just" Georgia, with players who play in Austria, Iran, Cyprus etc.

What we will know for sure is if Germany somehow get through against Spain that corruption is still rife within the game..
