El Profesor Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Comic defending by the turkish player. Way too passive, he could have cleared the ball instead of worrying where Gakpo was. Quote
Michael Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Gakpo will claim the goal! FFS I forgot to sub Gakpo onto my Fantasy football team! Quote

El Profesor Posted July 6 Posted July 6 The most entertaining match of the quarter-finals. Both teams can't defend and I am loving it. Quote
Redcanuck Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) Turkey certainly had their chances but the Dutch go through to the Semis. Dutch winer officially an own goal now. Edited July 6 by Redcanuck Quote
Azeem Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Turkey just had a brain fade for 5 minutes and conceded two goals Quote

Michael Posted July 6 Posted July 6 The Dutch were the better side and they deserved to go through in the end. They seem to be good going forward do the Dutch, but defensively they can be got at. Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 6 Moderator Posted July 6 But I have to say Turkey's Ferdi Kadıoğlu looks like a really good player. Easily Turkey's best this tournament IMO. 1 Quote
couscous Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Who wants to bet that Koeman will start Bergwijn again against England. He has been a disaster both times he has started. Probably shouldn't have shut down the television yesterday at 70 mins. Quote

Koeman keeps persisting with Memphis Depay too & he’s mainly just spent this tournament giving the ball to Holland’s opposition & they keep grinding out result once they put Weghorst on to suddenly make them look a lot more dangerous. Holland’s obviously going to be our toughest test so far (it’s the semi final after all) because they’re a side that’s genuinely got a decent attacking threat and has consistently been able to up their game in this tournament by making substitutions. Hopefully we keep getting lucky though and make it through. Quote
