Moderator Tommy Posted March 9, 2017 Moderator Posted March 9, 2017 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472954/ Well, we do need a topic about the greatest sitcom of all time. Just watched the final episode of Season 12 and It looks like Dennis might be gone from the show! That'd be seriously disappointing! But damn, Season 12 has been awesome throughout. So many episodes that felt like the classic Always Sunny again. It's amazing that they still manage to come up with all the hilarious stuff.
Rick Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Hilarious show, currently on my way through it. Just about to hit season 8.
Moderator Tommy Posted October 22, 2018 Author Moderator Posted October 22, 2018 That promo for the next episode omg. Charlie is Home Alone
6666 Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 I didn't think the first 3 episodes of the new season were all that but the 4 episodes after that were hilarious as usual.
Moderator Tommy Posted November 9, 2018 Author Moderator Posted November 9, 2018 Anyone seen the Season Finale yet? Well, when you think your favourite show can't surprise you anymore, this happens: For those not familiar with everything of the story: There's been a running gag in this show for over 10 seasons that Mac (the dancer here) is gay, despite being an ultra-Christian conservative. Everyone realises he's gay, except him. This changed last season, where he discovered he was in fact gay, and he came out. This episodes title was "Mac finds his pride" - Mac was stuck in a rut for the whole episode, not knowing where he fits in to gay culture. He realises however that he cannot feel proud until he comes out to his father (who he has always wanted a father/son relationship with, despite the father being a hardened and uninterested, callous criminal - seen here walking away during the dance). Before this scene in this episode (and played for gags) Mac tries to put into words how he feels regarding his newfound sexuality and its contradiction with his religious beliefs (the woman he is dancing with here represents God), the dance is the conflict between his newfound way of life and how he was raised, and also how he chose to come out to his father. This is without a doubt a massive tonal shift for the show and probably the most serious its ever been. Rob McElhenny, who plays Mac, was raised by his gay mother and her partner, and has two gay brothers - so this scene and how he treated it was obviously very personal. Breathtaking altogether.

"Then why am I doing it?" Holy shit. Loved the first episode as well though. The reveal whose hair Frank dyed, the gear they sold to the rioters, then revealing who they supported during the election. Amazing.
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Oh yeah, the first episode was also brilliant. It's a wonderful show, it's been good every season.
