Administrator Stan Posted December 26, 2017 Administrator Posted December 26, 2017 have 2 managers ever been sacked immediately after the same game? Monk at Boro and then Carvalhal at Wednesday.

DNA Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Long time coming. Ultimate bottle job, back to back promotion near misses.. their owner has shown a lot of patience for what they have spent.
Lucas Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 I can see Gary Monk at Sheffield Wednesday, not sure why, but I can just see him there. Nigel Pearson is ex Sheffield Wednesday, they could move for him or maybe even go for Neil Clement who wouldn't be a bad shout for the Championship. They won't be short of applications that's for sure. Good club for someone to take over.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 27, 2017 Subscriber Posted December 27, 2017 The two clubs I always thought Pearson might end up, ironically were Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough, which jobs both became free after they played each other. I genuinely think he'll stay in Belgium for a while before eventually returning to someone in the Championship.
Dave Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Paul Hurst is doing a fantastic job at Shrewsbury and is a Wednesday fan.

Honey Honey Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 Sven Goran Eriksson has applied for the job according to the Express.
