Dave Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 I'd be surprised to see United lose this. They thrashed them convincingly at Old Trafford, and Newcastle will not be targetting this as a game to ensure survival.

That would be a mistake of ours if we don't. If we want to survive comfortably then we need to start beating the top 6 in a game or two like others down the bottom are. We have 1 point, a draw with Liverpool. There are a few teams who are only above us in the league because they got more points against the top 6. We are one of the better sides against the bottom 10 but could go down simply off top 10 results. Slimani will start, he's our hope. Which reminds me of how Doumbia was our hope on loan last time we went down.
Administrator Stan Posted February 10, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 10, 2018 If Slimani gets the service, he'll score (eventually). May take a few chances but he will bag goals.

Honey Honey Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Slimani not fit Dubravka to make his debut though. Lejeune back after a long spell out, in for Clark who has lost form. We are in the bottom 3. Time to rally lads. Yedlin vs Sanchez is a worry
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 Pogba's having a shocker
Cicero Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 If Conte does leave, I'd have Rafa back over anyone tbh
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 Craig Pawson and his officials have made 2 terrible calls so far. Newcastle should have had a penalty after Gayle was tripped by Smalling. Wasn't even given as a free-kick as it was on the edge of the box. Jones touched the ball out for a corner right in front of the assistant and he gives a goal-kick. could call it 3 bad decisions given that Yedlin wasn't booked for a clear pull on Lingard. On a positive note, Newcastle's new keeper Dubravka is doing very well.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Mourinho shows why he got Sanchez. Got round the keeper, hesitated for some reason and his effort was blocked.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 what is Sanchez doing there?! why not shoot in to an empty net instead of giving a second or 2 for defenders to get back?!
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 such a boring game on the whole so far. Mourinho sucks the lifes out of games.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 Smalling diving. Pathetic.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 Go on Newcastle!!! Ritchie scores! Bursts the game in to life. Smalling and Mourinho must be livid
Inverted Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 I'd love to see United's set piece record compared to teams like City and Liverpool. Such a physically imposing side being so weak at defending balls into the box just shows bad preparation. Which makes sense because they look lazily coached in most aspects.

LFCMadLad Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Is this scoreline because City bought another defender?
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 that moment you realise how you're part of the shittest process in history
Cicero Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Mourinho bringing on youth so he can use that as an excuse if they lose.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 brilliant defending from Newcastle. Martial could have had a hat-trick by now. 2 shots blocked on the line from that corner.

Machado Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Shelvey is a monster atm. All over the place.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 Shelvey's been in inspired form today. lots of good tackles in and has helped out defence in general as well as helping with attacks. Very good all round midfield performance.
Administrator Stan Posted February 11, 2018 Author Administrator Posted February 11, 2018 how the fuck has Valencia not got a yellow there? Kicks Atsu in the face. No question there should be a card there. The only thing the ref has got right today is the Smalling dive.
