Optus Sport in Australia just advertised this weekends fixtures on tele by showing the home teams scoring in their previous match or matches. It came to Palace and they showed a Townsend miss...the only club to show a miss and not a goal, to then transition to Swansea where Tammy Abraham scores against Palace 😂

It's been a terrible month, as it was last season, and when Pulis resigned, and when we first went up. But that's the way we like it. Hence why we voted against moving the deadline earlier.

I don't get the hate. It's not as if he's walking in to a top six job. He's walking it to a bottom half team which is about his level.

Agreed. Woy did well at West Brom, misjudged nearly everything he did at Liverpool then did bang average with England and actually staved off the inevitable "last nail in the coffin" dire loss at a major tournament longer than most of his recent predecessors, a list which includes some decent names. This isn't an unreasonable appointment even if it is really fucking boring.

Taking away the ridiculousness that has led to your 9th manager in 4 years? I maybe wrong. Hodgson isn't a bad appointment, he done pretty well with Fulham and didn't fail at West Brom.

Don't know for certain how accurate this is, but he is usually right, but one team seems very out of place on this list...

It depends how it's formed. Clubs wouldn't have got the full reported amounts for our top players because they wouldn't have activated the bonus fees.

However we have been extremely wasteful with money over the last couple of years. If this was an FM save I would restart the whole thing. Sako being paid more than Bolasie was is just ridiculous.

That said if we are this season's Sunderland or Villa hopefully we can flog some of our expensive assets for what we paid or over because of inflation.

Benteke is injured for six weeks.

So after last season where we had no left back for half the season after Pape Souare's injury youd think the board would have learned their lesson. But no, instead they refused to invest in two key positions, so now we have NO striker and Wayne Hennessey in goal for the foreseeable future.

The board only have themselves to blame. Year after year our summer planning is piss poor and it's finally catching up on us.

I like him. He's quick, strong and good for his age. He's a long way off playing for United at the minute because nobody knows his best position as he's played in about 4 or 5 different positions as a 7/10. I think over time he will become a center midfielder but he needs to learn how to read a game and position himself better first.

Crystal Palace have submitted their Selhurst Park redevelopment plans to Croydon Council. Given the speed they work at I imagine we will receive a response in about six years.

There's a lot about modern day Crystal Palace that annoys me. One of those things I don't think I've yet mentioned is the PR team.
