Guest Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Kyrgystan's 2 CB's are doing a superb job of keeping out Gao Lin and Wu Lei. The timing in the tackle has been perfect for them, winning the ball cleanly and winning their aerial duels. It's really just been between those 4 players really. The midfield duel is non-existent and Kyrgystan have no firepower.

They really need to make more of their counter attacks though.Tremendous effort, even if they're going to run out of steam eventually... Stephan Schröck is still a surprisingly good footballer. Hope to see Ramsay and Younghusband coming on at some point in the second half.
nudge Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Match ends 1-0 for Korea but the Philippines can be proud of their effort and performance against one of the top favourites. Very memorable debut in the competition, and if they build on that, then there's definitely a chance to make it through considering that China and Kyrgyzstan aren't looking impressive by any means. Positively surprised.
