Agree, matters a lot to us to have vertonghen on the left side and Dier/Toby on the right.

Does it? Cahill is doing more than fine.

That is because Cahill is cut from a superior cloth.

Yes, it does. When we don't have the balance right it messes with our side a lot. Always preferred partnership with left and right footed players on their respective sides.

Clearly. Azpilicueta as well when he plays LCB. No issues.

Yep. One of our biggest weaknesses is when opponents attack us down our left side because when Milner pushes forward our LCB covers that area and with being a right footer he's just not comfortable, it's not natural to him.

You play with 3 at the back so your CB's aren't as exposed. It's different.

So do Spurs? Hence the point i'm making.

Proper? Liverpool definitely have the weirdest looking LB. He looks like a twelve year old trying to be trendy by gluing dad's shavings onto his face.

Would suit me perfectly, the centre back position is the one area that we're really struggling with so Michael would be more than welcome.

Better than Stones too

It's weird that you called him by his first name

United, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton are all interested.

Personally, I think he will go back home to Old Trafford.

I've not heard any of our reliable journo's say we are interested to be honest. The only link that is in anyway reliable has been to VD from Southampton and even that's tentative.

There's been a lot of noise about him joining us from various ITKs for a while now and with our centre back issues I reckon he'd be nailed on to start which he wouldn't get at the other clubs linked, so my money is on Keane to Everton.

I wouldn't return to United if I was him. Everton would be a great move for him though. Delighted that he's fulfilling his potential

Are you the 'actual' Salford Kel'?
