She had a brilliant start at Chelsea, and it seems like the switch to England really helped her reach the next level of her development. Willie Kirk suspended by Leicester for allegedly having a relationship with a player. Emma Hayes going a bit further and saying teammates being in a relationship is inappropriate. She then backtracked on that. I can see the potential dangers of manager/player relationships but at the same time I'm not sure if people should be punished when there hasn't been any of those dangers taking place. Moderator Tommy Posted June 4 Moderator Share Posted June 4 Germany already qualified for the Euros with two games still left. First half wasn't bad, but not great. Second half was much better with a few changes made at half-time. Still, it was like 30-6 shots on goal, so the efficiency has room for improvement. Only bad thing though is that Lena Oberdorf had to be subbed off with what looked like a serious injury. Losing her would be a huge blow with the Olympics coming up. Still top of the group and two points ahead of Iceland. So maybe the only positive is that we can work on those mistakes and become better of it as a result. I think they gave Germany a few problems in qualifying before haven't they? I feel a bit sorry for England women. They could qualify next week but it has been completely overshadowed by the mens euros. The attendances are down a bit for England ladies.
