Dave Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Arjen Robben has announced he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season after 10 years with the Bundesliga club. The 34-year-old joined Bayern from Real Madrid in 2009 and has since won seven league titles, four German cups and the Champions League. "I can say that this is my last year [at Bayern] and it is good like that," Robben said after a meeting with fan groups. "I have taken the decision, personally, that this will be my last year. "I think it is the right moment after 10 years. The club moves on and I may move on. It is the end of a very good and long period." Robben has scored 98 goals in 198 Bundesliga games for Bayern. The Netherlands international, who has also won league titles with PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea and Real Madrid and featured in the 2010 World Cup final for the Dutch, added that he has no plans to retire. "I may move on. I won't stop completely yet," he said.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2018 Administrator Posted December 3, 2018 Ribery leaving as well.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted December 3, 2018 Subscriber Posted December 3, 2018 If he goes to the MLS you'll see a Robben Cuts inside goal every damn week. His time at Bayern has been nothing short of excellent and I remember him for this smashing goal.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Club legend. Gas player on his day, sooooo fast, so elusive as well. Just a bit gutless but he is dutch so....
Panna King Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I am not sure if he will go to MLS or a similar league but he always said He will go back to Groningen to finish his career, but I can see PSV take him back.
Faithcore Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I will miss the guy. Surely one of the best bundesliga players ever.
6666 Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I feel like how good he's been in Germany gets overlooked a lot, especially here in England.

I think it would be enough to look what he did in the Champions League to acknowledge his quality. At least until around 2015 or 2016 he surely was one of the best players in the world.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted December 3, 2018 Subscriber Posted December 3, 2018 Absolute legend, One of Bayern and Bundesliga all time greats for sure. Wish him all the best in whatever he pursues but it is time and good on him for recognizing that.
