Heard someone call this the 'one win in eight' derby. Bit depressing. Don't see how we're odds on with the bookies to win.

Clyne starts for Bournemouth, but no Wilson in the matchday squad.

For us:

Pickford

Coleman(c) Keane Zouma Digne

Gomes Gueye

Lookman Sigurdsson Bernard

Richarlison

Basically what I'd have gone with but rather see Kenny than Coleman to be honest. Glad Lookman starts and hopefully this is the start of a run of games for him because Walcott has had more than enough time to turn his form around.

No Wilson again for Bournemouth. I don't think they did too well last time he missed out?

Lerma to get booked is a certainty. Maybe Gueye too.

I feel it's my duty to share this information with everyone here so you can get your £500 bets on Bournemouth in before kick off.

Bournemouth seem better going forward. Catching Everton on the break a couple of times. Brooks perhaps should be doing better with the chance that hit the post but got stuck under his feet a little.

Our passing is terrible. Sign of a lack of confidence above all else. Need a run of results for the performances to come back but if we perform like this then the results won't come. However, this squad can't keep relying on a new manager bounce being the only way they can pull themselves out of a rut. Grow a backbone or go home.

Much better the last 10 minutes or so. Crowd got up for a bit which is a rare sight. Difficult conditions, but Bernard, Keane and Lookman have been our highlights. Sigurdsson disappointing.

Everton started awfully and Bournemouth should have took advantage. Brooks is a well threat for Bournemouth he's great to watch got to be a contender for young player of the year. I never get why Lookman hasn't played much he's quality some of his passing and crossing has been superb. I'll never forget when he scored his first goal for Everton in the 4-0 win over Manchester City excellent goal and performance that day. Davies scored some goal that game to. I don't know which way but there's goals in this game in the 2nd half. The 1st half has been enjoyable to watch everything but goals we have had.

Thank fuck for that. Not pretty at times but apart from the first half hour we were good value for that win.

Gomes and Sigurdsson were the only performances that weren't great. Possibly Richarlison too.

Lookman and Bernard a breath of fresh air, taking the ball to feet and turning people inside out as opposed to Walcott running into blind alleys either with or without the ball and making himself unavailable or losing it. Glad Lookman got the assist for number two after keeping the ball alive so Silva has no excuse to mystifyingly return to Walcott for the next game.

Better from Pickford who looked more like his last season's self today. Keane an absolute rock at the back as he has been for most of the season.

Much to improve on but a much-needed result. Because we had to earn that unlike the win at Burnley who were a travesty, hopefully there's a better chance we can use it as a springboard.

Gomes was lucky not to see red Lerma diced with death at one point to. He had a good game as did Brooks. For Everton Lookman and Keane were both excellent for them. Could have went either way Everton were just a bit more clinical on the day. What a challenge from Keane right at the end. Gomes running the risk of giving away a penalty right at the end though the Bournemouth man went down easily.

Bournemouth missed Wilson had he played it could have been a different story. Massive win for Everton they'll be delighted a draw would have probably been a fair score on the balance of play. I enjoyed the game.  Everton could have scored a goal of the season contender great kick from Pickford then a lovely touch and control of Bernard a couple of passes then a great cross from Siguardson excellent header from Richarlison which went just wide what a move that was.

Apparently Gomes should have been sent off but I've also seen on Twitter that Anthony Taylor was pretty shit xD

Didn't see second half so not sure what happened as didn't think first half was that bad.

Not gonna lie I've never seen an Everton fan say anything good about any ref at Goodison xD
