Kensington confirm Labour gain. That's amazing.

Not on BBC?

Labour have won Tynemouth which is one of the seats the Tory's dream of in the North East but can't seem to ever get close enough.

Labour take Battersea Cats & Dogs home from the conservatives. 10% swing.

I've got my hopes set on a 10% swing in my constituency as well. Won't mean Labour win but will mean my vote did what I wanted and put the willies up the Tory MP

That isn't fair!  My vote in my constituency isn't worth 10%...  How d'ya manage to do that!

Wow James Wharton loses his seat in Stockton. Regarded as one of the better North East MP's even though he is Tory.

Labour are kicking Tories completely out of the North East.

Get your hands on a phone book and just go in and out of the polling station using a different name and address each time.

So more or less when will all the votes be accounted for?

usually by about 6am. then there'll be a few stragglers and official results are announced shortly after that.

sometimes there are recounts in various places which can delay it but roughly 6am.

Boris Johnson looks delighted with this result. His leadership bid is back on.

He had his chance and bottled it. I don't see how he'd have any more credibility than Theresa May.
