Controversial, I know. Not everyone's cup of tea, I know. But recently I got back into them, and I really do appreciate their old stuff.

Older stuff is better.

Songs like Yellow, Clocks, Trouble, Fix You, The Scientist I like to listen to.

And their drummer is in Game Of Thrones.

Parachutes is a decent album, enjoy the relaxed, earthy nature of it. A Rush of Blood to the Head isn't as good but has a few good songs. After that it all goes a bit U2y and Stadium rock for me.

I don't mind some of their stuff but wouldn't put them on out of choice. At the same time, wouldn't turn them off either

I like a lot of the older stuff but the newer stuff seems a little too mix and match for me. A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of their better albums imo.

Can't stand them but this is one their tracks I've always quite liked.

Awful album, terrible lyrics and basically an attempt to become U2.

Yes it is terrible from a lyrics standpoint but I think the score on it is actually very good. I think all the stuff that got big from the record, specifically Speed of Sound is a bit U2ish but at that point they'd started to venture far more into the pop scene and then the following albums had way too much pop on them.
