Bastard beat me to it this week xD

Ups and Downs

Championship Play-off Race
image.png

Derby need to match Middlesbrough and Bristol's results.
Middlesbrough need to win and hope Derby lose (or if they draw & Derby lose by 6)
Bristol City must win and hope Middlesbrough and Derby both lose

League One Play-off Race

Doncaster simply just need to match Peterborough's result.
A draw for Peterborough is very unlikely to be enough to get 6th spot

League One Relegation Battle
image.png

The big game being Plymouth vs Scunthorpe - likely that the winner survives. Given the GD between Scunthorpe & Southend, a draw is unlikely to be enough for Scunthorpe.
Similarly, a draw unlikely to be enough for Walsall; only a win will realistically do for them.
AFC Wimbledon could draw and hope other results go their way to be sure of safety.
A draw for Wycombe will definitely be enough; if they lose, they need to hope 2 of Wimbledon, Southend & Plymouth lose to survive.

League Two Automatic Promotion

Mansfield & MK Dons play each other so a draw is enough for the 3rd-placed side.

League Two Relegation Battle

Two-way fight for survival - Macclesfield only need to match Notts County's result; Notts County needto win and hope Macclesfield lose

Ha - My bad.

I was up late last night watching the CONCACAF CL Final, so I decided to wrap this one up.

MK Dons take the lead against Mansfield. League One beckons at the moment for Dons...

I only just realised but what bright spark decided to make all the League One games a 5:30 kick off?

Weird ain't it?

I'm guessing it's so they can air game(s) on TV for promotion/relegation race.

Notts County staying up as it stands!

They're winning and Macclesfield losing.

Fair play to Sol Campbell, ridiculed for a long time but he's managed to keep Macclesfield Town in the Football League. Some achievement considering where they were when he took over.

...And MK Dons and Mansfield Town fans are fighting on the pitch at Stadium MK. Sad that some can't accept defeat and that others, in what should be a great day, feel the need to goad other people from a different town, who are doing exactly the same as they are and watching Football on a Saturday.

Very sad to see Notts County go given historically, they are the world's oldest football club, founder member of the football league, never dropped out of the pro divisions and now for the first time in their history, they will be non league.

Got to be one of the biggest football league clubs to drop I'd say. They will pack out non league grounds next season.

Big Leeds/Villa-esque controversy in the Plymouth vs Scunthorpe game.

Plymouth keeper is quite badly injured so tries to roll the ball out to be subbed/get treatment. Scunthorpe player doesn't let it go out and ends up scoring to make it 2-2.

Controversial!

One of the teams I have followed, so it's a sad day indeed.

Hopefully they can return quickly.

Ummm. So there was a bunch of games just yesterday and for a second Middlesbrough were up 2-0 with Derby 1-1 against West brom. But Derby pushed through in the last half hour or so for a 3-1.

Welcome to the stress test Derby county.
