Max on quicker tires, he might take Lewis at the start.

Hopefully RB will sort out their engine mapping issues for the race.

Max will have it very hard though. He might take Lewis at the start if everything goes his way but Mercedes are very strong on the mediums and their race pace will be superior to that of RB now that the temperatures have dropped.

Still hoping for the rain.

Just hope Max can stretch out a good stint, but after the stop Merc will switch to faster tires.

40% chance of rain at the race start, and 70% an hour into the race. Fingers crossed!

It's apparently been raining for about two hours now; very heavy at first and lighter now but the track is soaking...

*keeps on doing the rain dance*

Norris on the back row with Vettel.

Seb might start from the pitlane due to change of setup. Not confirmed yet though.

In which case I wish Lewis all the best at this tough time.

Haha Rosberg is just being a shit-stirring tit as usual... Lewis sounded and looked visibly unwell yesterday.

Then he deserves a medal before the race has even begun, pushing on despite having all the handicaps of man flu, poor bloke... having had that myself I appreciate just how close to death you can come, blurred vision, aching limbs, the grim reaper whispering in your ear saying, "not long now"

We love you Hammy!!!

Apparently the drivers have no experience with these wet tyres and very few with the the intermediates. Vettel, Leclerc, Verstappen and Gasly did tests for Pirelli with the 2020 wet tyres so might have a sliiiiiiight advantage?

Could see a lot of slipping and sliding and spinning then maybe...

That's how it looked like in the Porsche Supercup supporting race at Hockenheim a few hours ago:

Safety car start is possible :dam:

Fuck off, there's drivers out there testing out the intermediates already.

Leclerc said it's too wet for intermediates after testing them. ORF commentators speculate that some teams might still risk it.

Worth it if they start behind the safety car. The track will be ready for intermediates by the time the wet wipes start the race so might as well save yourself the pit stop.
