  1. Just got from our daughters on a mothers day visit, so there were me and the two grandsons with the wife, daughter and 6 lady pet rats, had a lovely visit. My favourite is Charamanda, who always comes up to me, nestles into my jumper for a wee snooze then comes out and gives me a wee kiss all over, bliss. The wife's favourite is Rainbow the oldest of the lot and has not got long to go, goes straight up to the wife.

  3. I really hope this is the season where Max wins his first title. Would love it to be a close battle until the very last race, really miss the excitement of that. Other than that, midfield looks even better and potentially more competitive than it was last season, so hope for some juicy battles there too.

  4. Excited about the new season, hoping Hamilton wins but following a challenge rather than a canter this year. Red Bull have always been fast with laughable reliability, and fighting with just one driver after the bants of Albon. I think that they could be a major challenge if they've sorted their issues out, especially as they now have both Max and Perez who can challenge. McLaren look to be back, flirted with podiums and now have a new diffuser and Mercedes engine under the hood, I expect them to be the 3rd best on the grid but without flirting with podiums, they challenge for wins. Ricciardo and Norris are two drivers that I think are genuinely capable of fighting at the front, so whereas they won't challenge for the WC will give Mercedes and the Bulls something to think about. Ferrari I think will be poor again, just because I think they're still a circus behind the scenes but because of the above I think this season could be exciting. Hamilton to seal it on the last race would be the dream scenario, with the Red Bulls in the fight right to the end as opposed to just Bottas limping alongside. I wonder how the end of the season will pan out with the contract situations too, bit of an added layer when you consider Hamilton could be fighting for the title with no guarantees about his seat (again).

  5. I reckon we need to call this thread “on topic” as every other thread seems off topic these days.

  6. It's a combination of both - it seems to effectively decrease the risk of both infection and severe disease. 7. To think once upon a time the wife was petrified of anything like rats or mice but the daughter showed her how lovely pet rats are, they are loyal and once they get to know you and they sense that you won't hurt them they come straight up to you like a pet cat or dog and let you stroke them, the wife calls them all her "Wee baby girls".

  8. What an era that was. Hagler, Sugar Ray, Duran, Hearns, Barkley, Benitez, Minter etc. Friday night fights that cost zilch on terrestrial tv. Happy days.

  9. R.I.P. Sir 'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler, my thoughts go out to all the loved ones you left behind, you will now shake hands again with the greatest heavyweight of all times in Muhammad Ali Gutted, I classed him as the greatest middleweight of all in my time and loved watching his bouts and he never lost that bout against Sugar Ray Leonard and to me, he retired undefeated.

  10. So sad to hear that Marvelous Marvin Hagler has passed away so suddenly. He was always one of my favourites. Shame the way his career ended, getting screwed by the judges in his last fight with Leonard and then have him refuse to give Hagler a rematch.
