  1. Game 131 was one of the most profitable of the season, as a 20th-minute First Goal paved the way for eight winners: @Toinho gets 2 points for 21st minute, @Faithcore 1 point for 22nd minute plus all of the below: 2 points 1 point 1 point 2 points 1 point 1 point Game 132 had a 68th minute first goal, and second-half ones are always harder to guess for; sadly no winners. Table after Game 132 The duel between @6666 and @Devil-Dick Willie continues as they cancel each other out. @Redcanuck and @Toinho both improve their rankings. @Michael & @Faithcore join others on 15 points, while @Tommy reaches double-figures for the season.

  2. A very close game-week to contend with as all scores were between the 12-17 point mark. The highest came from @Bluewolf, and he was the only player to get 2 Perfect Scores. Next best was @Redcanuck who gained two points on @6666, who in turn equalled the score set by the leader @Rajabhat Rovers. And it looks like it'll take something miraculous to displace 1st place with only two weeks to go. Four players matched each other with 14 points.

  3. Such a Real Madrid finish. Scum a sweaty goal from a miracle, score a late winner, then the equalizer is wrongly flagged offside in live play and it gets swept under the carpet and you move on.

  4. This Leverkusen side are just amazing, they had 32 shots in todays match against Roma, even though Alonso rested several Leverkusen players for most of this match. Their top forward Boniface wasn't even brought on and neither was Andrich. Bayer Leverkusen will now face Atalanta in the Europa League final and I think we can all only see one winner in that match. Leverkusen look highly likely to finish the season unbeaten now. The quality and level of football they have been playing is actually unmatched by any team I have seen play football this season. Lets look at Leverkusen's remaining fixtures for this season: Bochum (away) 12th May Augsburg (home) 18th May Atalanta (Europa League Final, held at the Dublin Arena, Dublin Ireland) 22nd of May Kaiserslautern (DFB Pokal - Final, held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin) 25th May I think we can see them winning all 4 of their remaining games relatively comfortably. They will put their strongest teams out for the 2 final matches. With the way they have been playing, they should win all 4 games. Leverkusen have now gone 49 matches unbeaten in all competitions, which is a new record. No other European club has done this, which makes it even more incredible.

  5. Should be Foden. The young player of the year award is totally defunct. Say it every year but it should be limited to players with less than a full season's worth of Premier League starts before that season. Having the likes of Saka and Haaland on that shortlist just makes it a second POTY award. Give some recognition to those who have had their breakout year. Palmer would still make that list and deservedly walk the award by the way.

  6. There have been a lot of howlers from him. He’s not the only one to blame, but you win games by scoring goals. Some of his misses have been outrageous. He’s not a scapegoat but he takes a lot of blame for the fact we haven’t won more games, along with others in the team who take their own share of it. I like the lad, his effort and commitment is very infectious, but he just doesn’t score enough. I feel the exact same about Diaz btw, I think we could move him on as well because his end product is terrible. Other than Salah & Jota, I don’t think we can rely on any of the forwards we have to score consistently. We need improvement in that area.

  7. I personally think he's worth another season although the social media thing and recent body language may suggest he's been told he's off. I'm not having that his misses alone are the reason Liverpool are out of the title race because a) other players have missed big chances and b) look at some of the goals we've conceded recently. People love a scapegoat though. It's easy to be blinkered by recent form because he and the team were very good for much of the season. No he's not been as good as we'd have hoped yet for the price tag but he's also not as bad as he's being made out to be by some.

  8. St. Louis specifically. Management team there includes ex-player Lutz Pfannenspiel (sp?) and Roman Burki is there.

  9. I didn’t realise he was getting threats online. That’s obviously pathetic, but deleting all the photos is still a strange decision. Trolls will continue to comment and send him messages on his Uruguay pictures. That being said, it’s well out of order for anybody to be sending nasty message or threats to him or his family. I rate him for his work rate, for his running and pressing game. But for 80m his final ball and his finishing are both lacking massively. Yes, we have seen some good passes and goals from him, but that is in a sea of mediocrity. Maybe Slot has an idea how to use him and get more from him, but I tend to think that if Klopp couldn’t do it, then I don’t know if anybody else can.

  10. Tough luck @Viva la FCB but imo you got robbed at the end there. Even if Madrid go on to win it in ET that goal should have stood instead of being an offside.

  11. Nunez was a pleb over the weekend and deleted all pictures of himself at Liverpool from his Instagram. Does it mean much? Probably just a childish pillock throwing a strop but it’s not a good look for him or us. The fact of the matter is that if he had put away even half of the golden chances he’s fucked, then we would be at the top of the table. Some of his misses have been criminal and I’ve got serious reservations about us keeping him. Could be an idea to sell while he still has some value.
