  1. This is the squad I pretty much expected Marco Rossi to take to Germany. The only other players who maybe should have been selected are Zsolt Kalmar and Andras Nemeth. But Kalmar is injured, so that's why he couldn't be selected. Nemeth on the other hand has had limited playing time at his club side Hamburg and the youngster is much more inexperienced compared to the other centre-forwards that Rossi has selected in the squad. Those are probably the 2 main reasons why Rossi didn't select Nemeth, although I personally think Nemeth should have been selected. This Hungarian side does look like a very tough team though and I don't think any side will find it straight forward against them. Orban and Szalai will be important players in defence once again no doubt, just as they were at the last Euros. While Szoboszlai and Schafer will be the key men in midfield, who should be the main creative forces in the team. Roland Sallai is another attacking threat to really look out for as well though. Sallai's scoring record for Hungary is quite impressive.

  3. Embarrassing. It sounds like they insisted on no extension. Good on Tuchel, he will have many choices of places to go.

  4. Bayern should stay calm: Tayfun Korkut, Michael Frontzeck and probably many other managers of their ilk are still available. Seriously, though: Gradually Bayern are running out of choices mostly by their own doing, their new manager is already in the unfortunate situation of everybody knowing he wasn't their first or second choice. Would be smart, if they learned from this appointing disaster and wouldn't shout the name of their preferred personal option into the public as impertinent as they always used to since the 90s and did again this time in the future. Probably they won't though, which offers fans of other clubs the prospect of a lot of entertainment.

  5. That'll break a few hearts and put a few noses out of joint across the country I imagine. Did not expect that tonight from us though given our history, if truth is told. We're notoriously cagey in games like this. The key was the early goals and getting the crowd into it. Suddenly everyone wants the ball again, passes are crisp, the energy is back and the confidence is high. That Meslier save was massive for us at that moment in the game too to keep momentum. In the end, five or six wouldn't have flattered us. One more big performance needed in the biggest game of them all. Can we do it? Do we have the minerals? Either way, we'll go into it now as favourites off the back of this game and it's pressure on us to succeed. But we want it so much. Dunno what to predict with this Leeds side but I feel if we play without fear, we're far more dangerous than when we think about things too much. Maybe the bigger pitch will suit our widemen more? We'll see. Now the nigh on impossible task of getting a ticket for the final begins...

  7. Leon from Resident Evil and Abi from The Last Of Us would be a really rough bonk.
