Albania are supposedly the 2nd weakest team in this competition, with Georgia the alleged weakest, going by the FIFA rankings and going by what the bookies say. But I personally think most of the teams in this competition are tough. It takes top class performances like we saw from Germany and Spain to blast teams and thrash them in this tournament. Spain are going to top this group, I have little doubt about that. I can see weaknesses in this Italy team, but they are very strong in certain areas as well. It was a top class goal by Barella today. Spain will probably beat Italy. It's Croatia who Italy are battling in this group, as they are both likely to finish 2nd and 3rd in this group respectively.

I put quite a lot of bets on but never more than £2 or £2.50. I do it for fun so find it more enjoyable to have small bets on a load of games that I can then keep an eye on than I do putting a tenner on a long shot just in case I can win a few hundred quid. If I was actually any good at it and made a profit then I might invest more into it but I'm yet to find any approach that is even remotely profitable. I've probably lost about £100 since August but I don't lose sleep over it because I find it fun trying to spot good bets and it's kept me occupied for many hours in that time.

I think we can all agree that putting the Skywalker saga to bed until they can come up with a good reason to bring back one of those characters into their own arc or do something novel comes by. I can see value in what Lucas was doing with the prequels and it may have not completely worked but there was so much he wanted to tell that there was no way a studio was ever going to allow that to fly for the amount of screentime he was granted. The bigger issue with Star Wars video content in general is how much of it relies on relational arc piecing that you lose if you dont know everything necessary at times and I feel like Marvel made so many of those mistakes too because at the end of the day folks want to be entertained and while you have a fanbase which you shouldn't alienate telling a compelling story to draw in folks who aren't fans sets up a show that can be consumed by anyone.

Yea, I'm pretty relieved as I was unsure what to expect. But I saw a lot of positives today. Especially Wirtz and Musiala were a joy to watch. Gündogan had his first good game for Germany in ages. He's such a great player, but somehow we always failed to really bring him to life for Germany. And Füllkrug. What a striker to have up your sleeve. Anyway, not time to get carried away. Hungary and especially Switzerland could be much more of a threat. But hopefully that first win brings some sort of positive momentum to the team. I honestly didn't expect to be that invested in it, but earlier today I got really excited about the Euros.

Mandalorian seasons 1-2 and Rogue One for me are absolute gold. Solo was pretty good too but maybe a tier or 2 below. Everything else, just never got into or left disappointed. I'm pretty sure I'd like Andor though. I think a big issue for me is different directors with different perspectives/tones taking charge for each project. I loved the darkness and grit in Rogue One and presumably continued onto Andor. Some star wars projects recently just looks like cosplay and small in scale.
