Results - US Grand Prix Qualifying saw @RandoEFC and @Tommy lose points this weekend as they backed Charles Leclerc for pole. The rest of the field went for Lando Norris and were rewarded with 5 points for a pole position that looked out of McLaren's reach for most of the weekend. It was another difficult podium to predict. @RandoEFC and @Tommy cancelled out their qualifying losses, scoring 5 points each as the only two contenders to predict victory for Charles Leclerc. @Stan and @Whiskey picked up 2 consolation points for having the Monegasque elsewhere in their top three. @RandoEFC, @MUFC, @Tommy and @OrangeKhrush all pick up 5 points for having Max Verstappen accurately in 3rd place, while @Stan, @Dave and @DeadLinesman pick up 2 points for putting him 2nd. Nobody predicted a podium for Carlos Sainz at all, with a sea of Norris/Piastri predictions let down by McLaren's first absence from the podium for many races. @nudge's differential pick of George Russell to finish in the top three left her without any points on race day. The prediction that made all the difference this week was @Tommy's random driver pick, the only person to predict a points finish for the Williams rookie and he nailed it with 10th to pick up 5 points. Nobody predicted Max Verstappen to actually extend his lead in the standings ahead of the weekend, but @Dave predicted the biggest remaining gap out of everyone, so picks up the 2 consolation points for this prediction. Here's what a close weekend does to the standings: There's no change in position in either of the standings. Top scorer for the week @Tommy moves back within range of the top three who otherwise cancelled each other out this weekend. Everyone else is pretty much holding steady, with the main intrigue coming in the battle for 6th where a poor weekend from @nudge sees her now level with @Dave and @MUFC just two points behind the pair of them. With @Coma absent for three consecutive weeks, @Whiskey will have his eyes on climbing off the bottom of the table before the end of the season. Red Bull are the top scorers in this week's Constructors' standing, chipping away at McLaren's lead at the top. Mercedes still can't be ruled out while Aston Martin were awarded 4 insurance points to go with @OrangeKhrush's tally of 10 due to @Coma's no-show. Predictions for Mexico will be posted tomorrow.2 points

All change in Week 8. Well, for the majority of us as @Bluewolf was the only one to keep his position out of all players that submitted predictions. @CaaC (John) was quite clearly the standout performer, however. 24 points fires him to the top of the table and now leads by 6 points. 4 perfect scores helped him on his way! Next best was @Rajabhat Rovers who goes up into 4th after scoring 18 points, and next best was one of the players he overtook, @Lucas on 15 points.2 points

I want to see @MUFC bummed face down while @Stan and @Tommy are tied up and forced to watch.1 point

Not only did Stuttgart win away to Juventus, they also totally dominated the match. It's great to see Stuttgart playing such beautiful football and dominating one of Italy's best teams in Turin. Demirovic was unlucky not to score in the 1st half, when his thunderous strike hit the inside of the post, but didn't cross the goal line. Juve keeper Perrin was the Italian sides best player on the night, he made excellent saves. His first impressive save was when he tipped an accurate close range Undav header over the bar. Perrin also superbly saved to concede a corner from a powerful Demirovic shot that was heading towards the top hand corner of the net. Perrin went on to excellently save an effort from Enzo Millot in the 61st minute, as Millot's accurate shot was heading towards the bottom hand corner of the net. Perrin would also go on to save brilliantly from a well struck Millot penalty in the 85th minute of the match, at which point Stuttgart may have thought their chance of winning the match was running out. Not only did Perrin save Millot's penalty, but Undav was unlucky to see an excellent strike that hit the back of the net, chalked off for offside, after Stuttgart had thought they had taken the lead. But ultimately justice would play out, as Stuttgart substitute El Bilal Toure would score the winning goal for Stuttgart in injury time. Toure played a lovely one-two pass with Millot, as Toure then burst into the penalty area and smashed the ball past Perrin and into the net. It was a great end to what was an exhilarating and impressive performance from Stuttgart. This is easily Stuttgart's strongest team since Stuttgart's Bundesliga winning team of the 2006/07 season. It's also great to see that Stuttgart appear to now have 3 top class strikers. Demirovic and Undav have proven themselves to be top class forwards who score goals on a regular basis, while young El Bilal Toure, seems to be finally living up to his potential as a lethal forward, a potential that saw Atalanta break their transfer record, by splashing out €30 million to buy him in the summer of 2023. Stuttgart have an option to buy the on-loan Toure permanently from Atalanta at the end of the season, for around €18 million. There is little doubt that Stuttgart will pay that very reasonable transfer fee, to get Toure on board on a long term contract. Stuttgart also have the young Woltemade as their fourth striker option, which just shows how healthy Stuttgart are in attack. This is a lovely Stuttgart side to watch, and their attacking threat will always make them a danger to play against, even when they take on the elite sides.1 point

I didn't think the loss of Anton and Ito would matter so much... or at least I didn't want to admit it. But our defense is gash. 15 goals shipped in 7 games is awful. Hopefully a clean sheet against Kiel this weekend.1 point

Week 11 Results Luton 3-0 Watford Athletic Bilbao 4-1 Espanyol Como 1-1 Parma Celtic 2-2 Aberdeen AZ Alkmaar 1-2 PSV Seattle Sounders 1-1 Portland Timbers Wellington Phoenix 1-1 Western Utd Hull 0-1 Sunderland Leicester W 1-0 Everton W Nantes 1-1 Nice Round-up Plenty of talking points and lots to summarise for Week 11, as there half of the results were draws, whilst only a quarter of teams managed to score 2 or more goals. To begin with, @Pyfish deserves some credit not only for top-scoring with 20 points, but the 4 perfect scores he did achieve were all of the 1-1 draws! Just above him, @Bluebird Hewitt managed to get the second-highest score of the weekend, with 17 points. @Azeem now finds himself well within the title-chasing pack, as he goes up in to 4th after getting the highest score out of the top 5. @RandoEFC surrenders the lead, and it's a costly one as he drops down to 5th. However, it is only 3 points off the lead. @Tommy is now joint-top on 145 points (along with @Viva la FCB) and he was the only one to not get a perfect score. @Rucksackfranzose still hangs on just on the outside of the top 5, but like @Azeem has shown, one positive week could make all of the difference.1 point

Considering nobody predicted more than 1 perfect score ( 4 perfect scores predicted in total), and there was one match resulting in 0 points for all of us, the average score is remarkably good. At the bolded part: Really? Are you serious? I'd rather say their squad is bang average for 2.Liga, at best. Much worse than Köln, Paderborn, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, and even Hertha BSC. More of the same ilk as Lautern, Fürth, Nürnberg, or Elversberg.1 point
